Difference between a rested team and what we saw the last two games. The tank was just empty at the end of the season with no depth.

There’s a lot of teams that have done very well for the SEC…. Georgia, Alabama, Arkansas, Tennessee

LSU was/is extremely thin up front. It showed down the stretch. Yes, college football teams have varying depths

A horrible team without a coach, the QB and playmakers.

But LSU fans will think that this performance should catapult them to a top 5 ranking next year.

I guess we shouldn’t be happy our team is playing well, then.

You do realize LSU is missing a few players themselves, right?

I mean top 5 isn’t out of the question. We’ll start somewhere from 6-9 if I had to guess.

1st year coach, tried using our 2nd string QB, and we have more players missing this game than Purdue

Yes it is. Which is why i was addressing the poster trying to do mental gymnastics and justify the last two loses of the year.

You guys had a great season! But let’s not pretend you had anything better than a 10 win squad.

Bama really set the tone for the better SEC schools after getting punched in the mouth. They rolled up their sleeves and took it to them the remainder of the game. Georgia, Tennessee and now us.
