Who is it that is NOT credible? Some talking heads on ESPN or the SEC Network?
Bovada lists LSU's odds of winning the NC behind only Bama, tOSU, Clemson, Michigan, Washington and Louisville. That puts them ahead of Auburn and a slew of 1-loss teams. That's not an organization that's just saying shite for ratings.

Intriguing is a good word.
But I don't think that intrigue covers up poor OL/DL depth or a lack of 1st/2nd round talent on the OL.
LSUs defense is good but I think ultimately a poor-ish offensive performance will wear them down and it's only going to take a breakdown or two for Bama to win. Bama offense is about to be tested for the first time but I think that LSU is a little weak to the outside run game.
Bama 21-27ish
LSU 14-17
