Damn this has been an eye opening thread. I surely hope we’d make a coaching change in soon to remedy this.

Exactly, I consider this past season a complete bust.

You see? Some schools have high standards like Ohio State and LSU. Ole Misses is just looking for validation.

If only we could get the guy that ran the OM program since 2020 to coach LSU...

So what your showing is that LSU has the most potential that was wasted and Ole Miss did more with a lot less talent. Yep I think we hired the right coach! Not sure this is the flex you thought it was.

It's always since 2020. I wonder why that is.

Using 2020 is hilarious too.

Because the year prior shatters anything Ole Miss has ever achieved period.

Expectations and standards are the difference and why this is even a conversation 9 10 wins no banners is successful at OM. That'll get you ran at LSU. O got ran after building the best team of all time and he was horrible at OM.

For a team like LSU its national championship or bust

That doesn’t seem wise. Outside of a 5 year period, 2003-2007, when LSU won two national championships with Nick Saban recruiting classes they have only won 2 other national championships in the other 127 years of their football program.

Notre Dame isn't on the most overrated list? I call shenanigans.

programs that have earned respect over the years vs programs that haven't is all I see here. Just more proof that LSU and Ole Miss aren't on the same level.

Hire Ed orgeron or Brian Kelly and let’s see how that works out.

that doesn't fit my narrative though

How's this narrative....

Lane Kiffin is the only current SEC HC to leave his team before the CFP, and take another job at a rival program.

This is one of the reason these polls should go away. Pedigree is factored into the polls. Ole Miss has no pedigree hence your post.

Still not a single response to this. I've even posted the YouTube video and fricking crickets.

Just underscores the relevancy of the 2 programs and why Lane left.

One program is EXPECTED to be at the top each year and the other isn’t. Apparently he wants that smoke and good for him being a go getter
