What are you all hearing on guys coming back next year?
Obviously Mays is a senior.. but what about Watford, Williams, Smart, Days?
Haven't really seen them in mock drafts. If they all come back y'all could be filthy next season.

my guess is Williams is def gone-- he just had a kid. Not sure how Wade pays compared to D-league and Europe. He's clearly not NBA ready yet but may need a pay check

I think Williams is gone. He really improved since last season. He was always an athletic freak but he actually worked on his game and fundamentals. Smart should definitely come back for at least one more year but I think he'll leave too. I hope Days come back too but I think he might be gone after the season he's having.

Just looked at the most recent NBA Mock draft article I could find... Not a single LSU player in the 40 picks posted. Does that mean they come back though... Nope. Maybe Mays staying for his senior year will advise the younger guys to stay.

I expect Watford and Smart to go
Williams 50/50, wouldn't be shocked either way
Days should stay

If y'all could even just hang on to 2 of the 4, should be a really good team next year.

It’s wide open. Emmitt just had a kid and is having a really nice season. Watford is in a lot of projections to be in the first round which genuinely surprises me. He just seems like a great college player.
Otherwise Smart is way underachieving for his hype coming in. I’d be pretty shocked if he left.
But we currently have a top 10 recruiting class with four more studs on the board. Wade has shown he’s not scared to cut fat and even some contributors for better players
We’re going to be much more talented next season which is why every reasonable Lsu fan is shocked we’re in contention. The scandal and nba draft wiped us out

LSU Hoops Question
When was the last time LSU Basketball won at Auburn Arena?
Who was the last team to lose to Vanderbilt?
I thought Smart left but I see he came back. I guess American Dad didnt work out.

Congrats on basketball now being the primary sport at Auburn. The answer to your first question is 2016 so congrats on your three-game winning streak against LSU in that arena.
Football question: When was the last time Auburn football won at LSU? Here's a hint: Not in this century.

Yeah and don’t forget LSU has a transfer for next year who was on the Big East all freshman team last year. If he gets his waiver he will be eligible at the start of the year of not beginning of January

I would guess Watford gone and Smart and Williams will look to go.

Yes, but he’s undersized for his NBA position. I do think he will look to go though.

Your sauces are dead on, baw. Already a 10 class with Anselem, Gaines, and Kuminga still on the board with Shaq’s son likely transferring in.

Most feel Williams is gone
I think Watford is probably leaning towards leaving, but that is not set in stone at this point like Reid last season. From day 1 Wade talked about Reid being a one-and-done guy, and that talk never wavered (even though he ultimately went undrafted). I think Watford wants to go, but is willing to seriously consider returning.
Smart is a bit of a wild card. At the beginning of the season I would have say no way he stays. Now the sentiment seems to be it's more likely he does.
Days may participate in the process (he didn't last year). But most feel he's happy to stick around and develop further.
You'll know more by watching LSU's recruiting class. Right now they have committed all 5 known open scholarships for next season (3 early signees; transfer from G'town and one player who just recently committed). If anyone else commits, that means a scholarship from one of the guys eligible to return has to open up. LSU is pushing hard to get Shaq's kid in as a transfer from UCLA. So that likely means they know Williams is gone.

All true plus Embawdy said LSU favors Anselem over O’neal. As talented as Leblanc is I wonder if they regret taking that slot up.
Cooper is gone. LSU desperately needs post depth and Wade refuses to play him . I think bishop stays right now but if the right croot wants in he’s gone
