If coaches are good and connect with recruits, they do fine in the SEC, especially at a school like LSU.

It's a GREAT hire and our defense should improve. Especially if Becwith stays.
But let's not get too excited yet. Les is still the head coach and Cam is still the OC.
No matter how good the Defense is, they will find a way to lose to Bama, Arkansas and maybe even someone else.

At least it seems like aranda has a brain and mind of his own/can be innovative, no one in BR liked the Steele hire, but I remember reading a quote that really bugged me about that guy along the lines of "well they have a good defense I'm not going to change anything just keep it the same" like he's going to press play and sit back.
I'm excited about the hire, but honestly way more confused by auburn... They go from the home run of home runs with muschamp, to sneaking in and stealing Steele from us? Just seems bizarre... Thank you... I almost hope yall know something we don't

And I'm sure it won't take long for Les and Orgeron to introduce him to the highschool coaches in LA. It's not like it's hard for an LSU coach to recruit in the state.

This guy has had success at every school he has coached and I can't wait to see what he can do with this talent. Happy for Miles, he needed this boost badly
