Every school has college age kids who major in assholeness. LSU glorifies it even from adults.
The issue is LSU fans are NFL/Saints fans. They aren't your normal college fanbase. I feel bad for the good fans. LSU has a large proportion of shitty fans compare to the other surrounding SEC fanbase.
No seersucker suit covers up your redneck boy
Ole miss has plenty of trashy fans regardless of age.

Not that are at the game in the stadium outside of the student section.

LSU fans are great to hang out with and usually pretty good people. Once the game starts though, they may spit and piss on you and tell your grandmother what a whore she is.

We've won more games post-integration than pre-integration.

This game needs to move back to be close to Halloween.

ole miss first black player was 72, so 1970 was what i was calling integration
ill put it this way 50s and 60s carry a lot of the heavy lifting

I've got the series at 36-17-1 (.679) post-integration (neither Ole Miss nor LSU had their first black player until 1971). Pre-integration the series record is 28-25-3 (.528)
So no, you haven't had as many wins, and have had them at a significantly lower rate post-integration

in my trips to oxford there has been plenty
i don't expect the red carpet to be rolled out for LSU fans so whatever
Ole Miss fans think tossing on jos a bank sports coat shields them from being considered trash while corndogs at LSU fans

Incorrect, counselor. The University of Mississippi was integrated on October 1, 1962. Before then, Ole Miss had won 20 games. Since then, Ole Miss has won 22 games.

Copy.
I was using James Meredith's first day at Ole Miss, something we obviously studied and talked a lot about during my time as a student there.

No doubt.
It was our best time in school history, without question.
Kiffin is the second best coach in school history, which is really saying something given he has only coached 66 games for us.

I have had a lot of fun with my LSU friends.
I have also barely avoided getting my arse kicked by Ole Miss fans who attacked my LSU friend for no friggin' reason.
There are bad fans everywhere, but most of them are good!

Out of all the 3 perms released, the LSU-Florida not being there surprised me the most.

Ole Miss and Tulane were the rivals of my youth (yes, I am old). Agree with the OP. Wish we could get Florida or Auburn back (or both). There are natural, historical rivals for the other permanent three. Go play them.

I'm good with them also. If we would have gotten aggy and oklahoma then there would have been an issue.
Nothing against either team but as a founding member of this conference that also pulls its own weight compared to some no way in hell we should get 2 newcomers
And yes they need to move this back to Halloween weekend

I don't hate Ole Piss. I really and genuinely hate Bama, Florida and A&M, they should be our permanent opponents.

your football team wasn't, which was the point. Your school having black students and football team having black players are two wholly different things. Your football team didn't have black players until 1971
Once black players began playing in the SEC, the Ole Miss/LSU series became much, much less competitive. Same could be said about Ole Miss in the hierarchy of college football. That was the point of the other guy's post, but you already knew that
