Playing a tough out of conference game in today’s day and age is stupid. If you are in the SEC and win 10 games you will make the playoffs regardless of how shitty your out of conference schedule was. Lose those same two conference games plus an out of conference game and you likely will not.

Hasn’t been particularly close either. It’s a dark chapter in our history, to go from two decades of complete OOC dominance to losing like chumps for 4 years .
