Where there is smoke there is fire
Close people to the program seem to think he has discussed his exit with the AD
He’s had two neck surgeries and I think losing his dad makes him want to spend more time with family

Heard he’s done after this year. Call it resigning or retiring but doubt he’s here next year.

Paul has not notified LSU that he wishes to retire. He has 3 years left on his contract and we would owe him $3.3 million over 2 years to fire him. He is not going to walk away from that $3.3 million you can bet on that. Would he take less than $3.3 million to "retire?" NO one on any message board really has any reliable information on that.

All the talk I’ve heard from TAF members is that he’s retiring at the end of the year and Bianco has agreed to terms. How true that is, I don’t know. I’d be fine with us bringing in Bianco if we went out and nabbed an ace pitching coach and hitting coach. He’s got a young man’s fire still, and he’s “one of us”, so

PM has had some painful physical issues going on...and will not be with LSU after this year. We could have done much worse than Paul these last 14 + years. While some miserable LSU fans hate the guy..I’ve always been fond of him.

IMO, this has been the worst year of his tenure at LSU for personnel management. Just bizarre. And they have cost us multiple SEC games.
