They'd rather beat Bama because of Saban. They use this top dog, Have to beat Bama to win the west excuse but it's just because of Saban.
In 2007 when LSU came to Ttown, I'd never seen that many LSU fans travel to tuscaloosa, not even close. And we sucked and were no threat for the west championship.

Remember Baton Rouge had a burning in effigy party right before our game in 08. Kind of nasty near riot deal that they advertised on billboards. I doubt they ever did that when Stallings or even Bryant was coaching.

They say they hate Alabama. They do but they Alabama because Saban came. Before Saban, that game was another game to LSU. Like it has always been to Bama.

They could lose to A&m, florida, auburn, they don't care. The only loss that gets talked about all off season is Bama for the reason listed above.

I'll say this, their hate for us is like our hate for Auburn. Different reasons but hate nonetheless so we've all got that one team we talk about all offseason.

Holy hell. The mental gymnastics these guys do all to say they care more about beating A&M than anyone else.

whats scary about this season is we don't really have a badass at RB, or at least we aren't sure who it is.

we just rolled with two great ones and still dropped a couple, the D should be outstanding though.

I think we beat Miami, I think we have them handled at the line of scrimmage.

If Joe Burrow can be serviceable now we are talking.

Tough question. I am very tired of watching LSU lose to Bama, but I am also very pleased with them continually beating aTm.

Beating the best is always good for a team, but then again, they would still end up finding a way to make it to the title. I am torn 50/50 on this one. I would give the edge to beating aTm because I expect us to lose to Bama, and loosing to aTm will hurt recruiting in Texas.

Yeah, it's been a hot minute since LSU wasn't going into the season with a star recruit or at least somebody with experience even if they aren't a world beater like Spencer Ware or something.

I'm sure whoever emerges for y'all will be plenty good, but Miami returns their top RB so i gave them the nod.

Auburn is in a bit of the same situation where RB is technically an unknown, but we aren't really worried about. Malzahn's offense has always produced in the run game, and a lot of us feel good about Boobie Whitlow anyway. With Stidham and our WRs to help take off the pressure, if there has to be a year where RB is a question mark for us then this is a good year for it to happen.

You think Stidham could be a first round pick potentially?

Losing to A&M, I literally can't remember what that feels like, so ... give me the status quo

You are not a good team and your head coach is a fail version of Les Miles.

Not a game we should be concerned with.
