I didn't see a weakness on the LSU defense and they played with great intensity. Our Offensive line couldn't get any kind of consistent push.... However, the most impressive players on the field, in my opinion. were the corners. They played a lot of man coverage without getting burned and that's impressive against our receivers, who are supposed to be the strength of our offense.

# 99 nose tackle. I think Porter is a good, not great center for us. And this # 99 worked him the entire game.
Honestly think he was the biggest difference maker in the game.

Ragland brought the wood every play. he was awfully, awfully impressive and could turn out to be one of the best under saban's tenure. Reed just clogged shite up like a overflown toilet. He presented most if not all of the issues up front and was directly responsible for limiting the running to like what...3.4 yards per carry? Getting 180 yards on 56 carries is not a good stat, especially if you're aiming to bludgeon your opponent to death. A few 7-8 yard runs with alot of plays being made at or behind the LOS. Collins is what a physical safety should be, someone that's not afraid to come up and hit a RB and also provide adequate coverage. We didn't challenge him mucn in the passing game, but when we actually did, he was there to make a play. (One was a two man route with a post and drag with Dural and Quinn which was defended perfectly). Eddie Jackson is your best corner, period. You see why LSU wanted him that badly a few recruiting cycles ago. Derrick Henry runs too high, IMO. For LSU... You see why there was a huge *GASP* in the air when Beckwith went out and Welter was inserted. We all had visions of Yeldon/Henry going absolute apeshit on Welter with a run up the middle with Welter being occupied with a non-existent block. Beckwith is a difference maker and has the potential to be better than any MLB Chavis has ever coached. Tre White is a true shutdown CB, but a mediocre punt returner. On one of Hunter's tipped passes, I believe White was in position to pick it off and possibly run it back for 6 had it not been tipped. The WR ran a slant and White completely beat him to the spot where the pass would have been. But, he's a mediocre kick returner, IMO. His decisions back there really vex me sometimes, to be honest. Really lots of young, young talent on both sides, but I have to like what was shown by LSU's youth. We are going to get better, and the turnaround on defense will only get nastier. Now only if we had a QB on the roster to have a competent passing game. Oh wait, we already do, i hear? Hmm...

Since White and Beckwith have been mentioned, ill go with Delahousay. Kid is clutch.

The player that had Bama's most important play of the second half, of course.
He was able to bait an LSU player into a personal foul call, while simultaneously gripping and pulling said player's thigh, all the while concealing this from the sight of the official.
Impressive, no doubt.

As usual, many future NFL guys were on display. Ragland, Allen, Ivory, Jackson, Cooper, yes Mazza, Yeldon, Sims when needed.
White, Hunter, Rasco, and Beckwith on D(since he has been starting the "light has turned on", he played quite a bit earlier this year, but didn't look anything like this). L. Collins, T Magee(more for pass blocking than running), Neighbors, and Pocic.

Kwon Alexander is the best player honestly. Beckwith is a badass but he wasn't in enough for me to really see

Easy answer. Ragland. Like Beckwith, he's got great size and crazy speed. He's a great one, no doubt.
