Heard nothing but positive things so far but was wondering what to expect in our transfer from Baton Rouge?

Good talent, needs to grow up. If he can do that he’ll be a good player for UK

I saw him as a capable cornerback and can't explain his desire to leave.

He is missed, but was not ultimately needed when LSU was busy having the best season of all time.

That basically confirms everything that I have heard so far. It seems like early on he was focused more on becoming a twitter rap star opposed to living up to becoming a blue chip corner. Since he has been in Lexington, it seems that he's done a lot of growing up. He's constantly posting videos working out and seems to be a teammate that everyone loves. I'm certainly not naïve enough to claim UK as DBU, especially over LSU but Mark Stoops does have a way with elite DB's dating back to his days at Miami with all of those guys at the turn of the century.

A day one starter who is explosive, fundamentally-sound and has big play capability. He could easily perform at the all SEC level if he gets his head together. He has a LOT of people who normally don't throw shade throwing shade at him, so factor that in. People were relieved he left I sense. Hopefully he gets it all together and goes to the league. His talent is not a question.

He was more interested in rapping and hanging out with the wrong crowd. Got suspended and decided to take his talents elsewhere. If he grows up, he'll be awesome.

One has to think that being away from his hometown and friends (that could be the wrong crowd) will be a positive for the trajectory of his career.

I'm not sure of his size now. I've always thought somewhere else in the defensive backfield besides CB was his best position. Not saying he isn't a good CB but I'm thinking more long term for his future success.
That being said & regardless where he plays he will more than likely be the best player on your team.

If he’s matured and learned from his issues he will be an all sec performer

Maybe he's grown up some and is ready to compete. But, all I've seen from him so far is that he's a quitter. Hopefully you get to see his talent shine this year because he has a lot of it.

Great DB. Solid corner but probably would have transitioned to safety. Just couldn’t stop smoking pot.

Much better safety than corner, didnt want to wait his turn at cb once Stingley came in at corner and seemed unwilling to switch to safety which is definitely his best position. Would have played a lot at safety this past season with early season injury to Todd Harris, missed out on that.

Stoops said during the spring that he will be starting Joseph at Cornerback. Kentucky is at an interesting position in the SEC. They have a ton of talent but only really rank high middle in terms of talent compared with the rest of the league.

Even though they won 8 games last year, they weren’t very good. Losing to USCe, Miss. State, and playing a close game to Arkansas shows we are still lacking in talent.

1. Eddie Gran is a running backs coach that gets to do all the play calling.

2. Stoops likes this because he knows how running the ball demoralizes a defense.

3. U.K. fans are OK with this because we are winning games and playing tough.

The reason Joseph is so important is because not only does he give us a solid corner but he’s making all the other DBs play better so they are not overshadowed by him.

He’a our stand out Lynn Bowden talent on defense this year.

In all honesty, teams like Florida Georgia and Auburn will all have more talent than us this year and should win but because UK plays better as a cohesive unit, they have a chance in all 3 games.

Davonte Robinson also returns. The secondary will be stellar.
