At least they can make a legit argument for having the best football uniforms in the conference. I'll give them that. These new ones are sharp. I like that new V, as generic as it may be.

I really like the UK prediction now. I know Regular Mississipi doesn't have much of a rowdy crowd as is but since it was announced to be a noon game (11 Mississippi Regular time), that really helps UK.

Mike Leach roller blading around Masterson Station neighborhood with a walkman on was even funnier. God, I loved the late 90's UK football but they sure were some odd ducks on the coaching staff. Can't forget the one who brought the program down (Claude Bassett RIP) having to ride around practice on a golf cart because he was too fat. Mike Fanoga running around Lexington in traditional Hawaiian attire, and Hal being asked by a child on the call in show "What he does in his down time" and replying with "Well, you can in a few years but right now, I like to lay around in my backyard hammock listening to Jimmy Buffet while enjoying a nice glass of bourbon."

Yet Georgia has accomplished exactly the same exact thing as Kentucky in the past 40 years.

Drum my bird to the 1986 Coors Light Elvira cardboard cut out that I have in my garage.

Check in if your school has a bunch of fruity kids dressed as milk men trying to arrouse a bunch of fake army men and pretend cowboys.

Georgia is a great team. Their D is on another level this year. That being said, I still think the Cats can still run on them. Will they put up 200-300 yards? Very doubtful. It would take some very big chunk plays. On the flip side, Kentucky brings in the SEC’s best back who doesn’t go down on first contact and may have a chip on his shoulder due to being from Georgia. He had over 100 last year. They also bring in one of the best O lines in the country featuring a 6 year center and a first round right tackle and potentially a first or second round left tackle. With Ali being out, look for a lot of 12 personnel with an extra blocker. Not saying it’s a sure fire thing UK can run on the dawgs, but they have the horses to.
re: Keys for Kentucky to beat Georgia

The Dogs are the favorite and rightfully so. That said this isn’t the sure fire blow out that many are predicting. Is it possible? Absolutely and in fact, very possible. Georgia is that good. On the other hand, Kentucky is a lot better than many expect. I’m not predicting my Wildcats to go to Athens and win. That would be silly but I am not conceding anything either.
The Kentucky defense is better than the Georgia offense and in return, the Georgia defense is better than the Kentucky offense. The gap between the UGA D is greater than the UK adv over the UGA offense though. That means in order to stay in this game, my Cats are going to have to be +2 in the turnover game and maybe even get on the board with one of those turnovers. Straight up, I don’t see this being an overly high scoring game though. However turnovers could make the score appear closer or worse than the actual outcome.
If both teams bring their A game, I see it as
UGA 24
UK 10
My Cats are awful hungry so I think it will be a closer game. I’m not trying to talk smack but Georgia tends to have a choke game nearly every year. Us in blue can only hope this is it. It comes after a rival game, just getting the top ranking, and playing a legit team with a top 5-10 defense that many still think is a flash in the pan.

re: Kentucky needs to hammer the rock against LSU

Kentucky has been trying to get the hb screen and wheel route game going. Levis has been off just a bit as of late but it’s more of a muscle memory than an issue. Some goes on the backs for not holding their block just a bit longer before releasing. I would say that will be a point of emphasis in the pass game this week. Also look for tight ends to get some more run with Ali being out. Everyone knows that we are going to run and go for the deep shot with play action.
On D, we’ve been really strong against the run and don’t allow the big play in the passing game. First three games, the numbers show not the greatest pass D but more of that was by design due to only playing 3 corners. Brad White was giving cushion and giving up the underneath between the 20’s before tightening up in the red zone. Now that we got players back, the d has been really good. LSU still she tons of talent so we can’t rest on our laurels just because things seem bleak for LSU standards.

re: Which sec school has the dumbest tradition?

All of the traditions are pretty dumb. We blow a horse bugle when I'm pretty sure a horse and Wildcat are two totally different animals. We should have been named the Thoroughbreds instead of generic Wildcats. You then could do some cool stuff that makes sense.
Vanderbilt anchoring down in a landlock state is a good call. Unless they're throwing a big anchor out in Percy Priest or The Cumberland River, it's dumb.
Rocky Top is a cool song but due to it's association with UT, I hate it and cringe when it is played.
SC- The roster crowing makes sense but also is hokey.
UGA barks a lot.
I kind of like the Gator chomp. It's unique.
In the west, aside from the little sissy men dressed up like milk men doing those gay poses, I can't makes sense of the little catch phrases. Rammer Jammer, Hotty Toddy, War Eagle, Woo Pig Sooie. Arkansas' makes sense seeing as they are hogs but still....
Auburn also does some shite where I'm pretty sure they just make up words. Boda Getta? What the hell is that nonsense? Cowbells need outlawed too.

No! I don't want them being around those little sissies in the milk man outfits. To each their own, just dont try to make it normal. Can't nobody tell me those little finger gun pointing boys aren't a bunch of rope suckers.

I'd rather watch Hallmark Christmas movies all day rather than watch our shitty basketball team this year. I do need some sports so hurry up Gator Bowl!

The Cats just want to play. Everyone know the chances are slim to none while even healthy but their 2nd and 3rd stringers getting their asses handed to them will toughen them up. It beats sitting at home playing madden. Kentucky ain't no pussies.

I almost wish this game was this weekend. I'm not going to be naïve and say we'd win the game but I guarantee it would be a war. Stack the box if you want and know we won't throw a pass. I can guarandamntee that no defensive line in America will be able to do anything with our O Line, in particular Drake Jackson and Landon Young. Sure the Bama talent would likely give them the final victory, but this offensive line which many say is one of, if not the best in America will be playing with an extra something this season. I know these kids are sad as hell over their mentor and hero passing, but I don't see them half assing. They will lay it on the line in his memory.

Beating Florida would do more for us from a national respect standpoint. However, beating the Vols does more for recruiting since we compete for so many recruits, particularly on the border. 2.5 hours separate the schools and it's finally starting to turn back into the hated rivalry that it was for 90 years until that ridiculous streak started.
I like 20 minutes from the Tennessee line. I'm an hour and 10 minutes south of Lexington and an hour and 10 minutes north of Knoxville. To me and many of the like, Louisville is another game with bragging rights but Tennessee is the arch rival. I'll take that win 12 times out of 10.
