Curious to see how he's used there, he could have gone in several directions at LSU. Has the talent to be an outside corner but I think we were grooming him as a nickel/FS.

The talent is there, if he gets his head straight he can be all conference.

He’s gonna be a lockdown corner for y’all by midseason. I really think this is the year y’all beat Georgia and he’ll give Newman hell all game. Don’t think you guys get past Florida, but I see a 9-10 win season.

A player that tucked tail and ran when a true freshman (Derek stingley) best his arse out in camp for the starting cb spot with Fulton. He's a no chest quitter that gave up on himself and his team bc he couldn't humble himself and work harder to get playing time. He missed out on a natty at LSU and any future possible playing time bc stingley is just too damn good to not start over him. I have zero respect for him honestly and he didn't mean shite when we lost him last year obviously, as we won the title without him and our other talent stepped up and performed like true LSU tigers. So, in short, he's a quitter that folds upon any sign of adversity. I wouldn't count on him being a game changer at all and I'm glad he's gone bc players like him are trouble waiting to happen for a lockeroom and can cause team dissention quickly. He's definitely not a savage like he self proclaimed to be when he signed with LSU.

Damn

This is how I know he’s good.

He was a lockdown corner in HS and moved to Safety to be more of playmaker bc nobody through his way. Very talented and can play corner or safety. He wasn’t great at corner his only year at LSU but was a true FR and originally recruited at a safety. He did need to mature as he was basically kicked off the team for drugs

Great DB talent.

Would have played a ton last year and good chance at starting for us this year had he stayed.

Good prospect athletically. I always thought he was more of a Safety but trusted eyes like Ryan Clark have raved about his hips and feet in coverage as a Corner. I didn’t see that albeit in limited action as a freshman at LSU.

He got beat out when Stingley came, and between that and failed drug tests he chose to walk. A lot of reported off the field distractions and hanging with the wrong crowd, so maybe Lexington will be good for him in that respect. Mentally, he needs to grow up.

Physically, he steps in and is UKs best DB on day one. I expect he’ll start for two years and be a solid player.

Dear god you clearly aren’t upset about it

To the OP - I think Joseph is gonna be a star. He played incredibly well as a true freshman and was in line for significant PT last year. It was very disappointing at the time to see him leave. He would be starting for us this year if still on the team

He could be. Certainly has the talent.

He did seem to run from the competition although you could definitely chalk that up to immaturity.

I thought I was God’s gift to academics when I was that age

Has nfl talent if he ever decides to do something with it

Talented dude but also an aspiring rapper. I think he had too many distractions going on in north BR.

Until he changes his bad habits, he will not make the grade!
