No one wanted to watch a backup coach with backup players. I'm surprised he went at all.

LSU fans are going to say they don’t care.

I thought it was hilarious how hypocritical and oblivious Lane has to be to leave early.

He cried about fans leaving early against fcs teams and he can’t be bothered to stay through his own teams bowl game.

Which makes the lsu fans in here posting how they’re cool with it look like the retards we all knew them to be.

Sorry we're not pearl clutchers like you folks in Oxford.

No wonder Lane wanted to leave.

Not at all, as a matter of fact I think he did it to so Frank Wilson could have his day and for him not to be a distraction.

The only people I've seen upset about him leaving early have been OM fans on twitter

A thread analyzing how some dude chose to spend his Saturday after Christmas is basically TMZ man gossip.

It's true.

I find the "he had things to do" line hilarious.

As if he left to go call recruits or gameplan or set up a practice schedule.

Lmao

This, I have no idea why people are making this out to be anything

I do. It’s because they’re sad and need attention because even their fat old ladies or a fattie on the apps won’t give it to them. They’re just lonely and sad so they find things to get attention.

FYI OP not directed at you but our local Tiger derangement syndrome regulars. And to answer your question no, I DGAF and prefer it this way. Let the team get as much attention as possible. There’s seniors that were playing their last game in a season they probably want to forget. Don’t let it be 100% the lane show like he’s fricking Taylor swift at a game.

If I were to be bothered by anything, its that he even went.

He's not coaching the 2025 LSU team. He/LSU decided that Frank Wilson was the HC for the remainder of the season. LK has done a really good job staying out the way of the current staff and team. Him leaving a meaningless game with 20+ opt outs has zero bearing on anything LSU 2026 and beyond.

I would have preferred he was in his coaches office fielding all the agents calls he said he was getting on the sidelines.

Not a good look if you’re trying to be a leader. But this is no real surprise to Ole Miss fans. Off-shore fishing trips and stalking ex’s were always a higher priority than actually running a program.

Never crossed my mind. What am I missing? Why should I panic about that?

There’s nothing he had to do then that couldn’t have been done at another time.

Nope, Frank was coaching the team, let Frank have his last hoorah. Glad he stayed out of the way.
