I would prefer keeping Lane than staying in the SEC. Not even a tough decision. This conference is big gay and declining.

I'm good with Golesh for the most part. I am a bit tired of the HUNH crap though.
I wanted him over Sumrall. I hope it works out for both teams.

As someone who lives in Florida, I think it worked out for both programs.
I didn't know a single Florida fan who wanted Golesh. They all wanted Sumrall over Golesh once it became obvious LSU had locked up Kiffin.
I get it too. Sumrall has won conference championships everywhere he has been a head coach. Got Tulane to the CFP as well. In their only meeting, Sumrall at Tulane beat Golesh at USF 45 - 10.
Golesh's only real accommplishment was beating a 9 - 5 Boise State team that wasn't ranked the rest of the year and barely beating a 4 - 8 Florida team.
It seems like all the Auburn fans wanted Golesh and all the Florida fans wanted Sumrall. Personally I think Golesh will be a flop. Sumrall could go either way, but I think he has the higher ceiling.
But let's not mince words. If Kiffin had shown any interest in Auburn, Auburn would have emptied the bank for him. And you know it.

I have never ever seen this fanbase this angry, and I was around in 70s would they would just tip rivals cars over and piss bombs and flying bottles were part of the game.
Anybody with plans to go to the LSU game in Baton Rouge might want to rethink their plans.
I am usually just fricking around when I say this and in truth I have always come to aid of rival fans, even Gumps that are being improperly harassed or attacked by drunk students, Frat boys, etc, and I will continue to do that. But if it’s a huge crowd of pissed off drunk coonasses, all I can do is talk to intervene is try to talk them down. Love you guys but I am not dying for you and too old to hold my own with that.

Whose fault is that? Rival fans?
LSU and Kiffin got themselves in this situation with the conference because of their arrogance and hubris.
