Hes the guy that they want to shoot and is a two so of course he wont have more then one or two assists a game.

Hes been a decent rebounder lately too. I'd like to see the stats for the last month only.hes been a lot more efficient so I think they coached him to not shoot as much. Earlier in the year wade said he wanted cam shooting as much as he wanted to but that green light hasnt been as bright lately.

I think his best game was last game against missouri. I bet it's on you tube. He was Making some crazy shots

I hope he stays hot because we need him to score to open up the drive with javonte and to give trendon the most one on ones .

Can anyone find a link for the missouri game highlights? For people who havent watched cam ,you would be missing out not watching some shite he does . Especially that game

This is a stupid question, would UGA fans want Anthony Edwards back this season, I would assume so? And he wasn't even as good as Thomas is at the moment.

Thomas is +4ppg over Edwards with 1 more shot a game.

So yalls 3 top scorers are all inefficient scorers? Bc Thomas averages more points per attempt than all of them. Seems like you have quite the high bar on what efficient is.

Wow. It's like you didn't even read my post. Neither Wheeler nor Camara are efficient scorers. In fact, we only have a couple on the entire team. If they were efficient, we'd be a far better team.

But UNLIKE Thomas, they contribute in other ways. There's more to basketball than scoring.

And your points per FG attempt stat is pretty misleading. It makes it sound like he's shooting well from the field, when in reality, his FTs are what drive that number up. It's awesome that he shoots 8 FTs a game, but he can still shoot 8 FTs a game without the fadeaway airball 3s.

we 100% win 2-3 more games this year if this is the case

Some will never admit that though

If Thomas refined his game to only include his layups, floaters, open midrange, and open 3s, he probably wins SEC POTY. I think he makes 75% of those shots, seriously. The problem is half his shots are really ill-advised and drag his percentage down.

also the timing of a lot of those shots is puzzling. Need to milk clock yet drops a 28' fadeaway

And the entire issue with you comparing LSU's players to Georgia is that LSU is a much better team.

For LSU, Smart, Days, Watford, and Wilkinson are decently efficient shooters.

There are plenty of times where those 4 players can provide a much higher percentage shot than a Cam Thomas fadeaway three.

Georgia doesn't have 4 efficient shooters. Wheeler will try and find an open guy, but if he can't find someone as the shot clock goes down, he or Camara will try a contested layup or shot, because there's no one better to take it. This is a major difference from Thomas who will take a bad shot with 25 on the shot clock.

No,we want the whole team to leave. That way we can field some pathetic team like Georgia does every year.

What's with all of the Georgia fans making lame flames about LSU basketball lately? LSU isn't UK or Duke, but we're like Kansas compared to Georgia.

After Ole Miss, Georgia probably has the worst program historically in the SEC.

At the end of a big game, 10 seconds left to make a shot to win, who in the SEC do you want taking that difficult shot over Cam Thomas?

We have to have Thomas score. The only other decent outside shooters are Days & Smart. Watford gets most of his 6-8 feet from the basket.

That’s not the point

He treats every possession like a game winning shot.

The better question is-Do y’all want Crean back next year?

2018: 2-16
2019: 5-13
2020: 7-11

Progress is slow but I’m not gonna call for him to be fired unless he stops improving.

Of course I would want him back. He's one of the best players in the league. But, there's no chance he comes back. He was a one and done before he ever signed.

Poor shot selection is really an LSU problem and not exclusively a Cam Thomas issue.

Smart takes 2 or 3 ridiculous threes a game.

Watford drives into people and throws up dumb off balanced floaters.

Days will continue to jack up threes even if he isn't making them often early in the shot clock.

Aundre Hyatt takes threes when he has other options.

It's obvious that Will Wade doesn't care. He just wants to outscore people vs trying to grind it out and wait for the best shot.
