Imagine how much better he would shoot if he wasn't taking 30 foot jump shots off the dribble with 28 seconds on the shot clock.
He is also a junior and the point guard. I expect him to know better vs comparing that to what s freshman is doing.
It's all on Wade anyways. He's the one letting them get away with all this sloppiness.

Well yeah, but he could put up a bad, but good faith, argument on that one because Edwards is only an NBA rookie who was a one and done. There's no argument you can put forward for why some freshman volume scorer is a better player than a HoFer who was a 2x All American and SEC POTY in college.

There have definitely been people on there say that we played better offense without Thomas. I don't know about the bring the team down part. But, the other part is 100% true.

He's 18 years old. Conventional wisdom would say that he would improve from year 1 to year 2. We're very aware of what he needs to improve upon, but anyone saying they wouldn't young kid to come back who just scored the way he did as a freshman would be ignorant and/or foolish. He won't be back, so this entire discussion is rather pointless, but yes he would be welcomed back with open arms
