No, its called gaining momentum. This will be looked back as the year we turned it around regardless of the playoff outcome. Winning the recruitment battle this year within the SEC will be huge and set us up to be a regular in the playoffs. Championships will come.

No season that ends with an SEC title is a failure IMO. If we lose to UGA AND in the semi final, that would be pretty damn disappointing.

We win it all, it catches recruits eyes as the place to be and gives coach O some credibility.
Lose the championship, it still catches recruits eyes to come feel needs of a team that is close.

LSU has always recruited very very well, but it actually seems like our recruiting has reached another level currently that even we haven’t seen before. This season is just the beginning.
The decline is over. The napping giant has awoken again.
ETA: I reserve the right to edit my post if LSU loses to Ole Miss Saturday. Lol
