When he's at the games, did they let him out of his mobile cage(With Chain on him)?
Would be cool, if they could get him to run with the players, like they do at CU with Ralphie

Yup. He doesn't like the place. I hope they don't bury him in the stadium pet cemetery when he dies. Spread the ashes instead for this generation and save the plot for the next one.

Not sure I understand. Even if Mike did go in his mobile cage for every home game, that's still a grand total of 12-14 hours PER YEAR that he'd be out of his habitat, unless they were to transport him to a few other very rare events during the year, which would add a few hours more.
The other approximate 8740 hours each year he's enjoying his 15,000 sq. foot habitat with wading pools, caves, hiding places for his food, trees, savannah grass, hills he can climb, and glass that he can interact with kids (which he loves), and cared for by the LSU Vet School...

It's infuriating to me because I always used to think it was so cool when he roared in the stadium pre game
The previous Mike, for some reason, did not like the costumed Mike. So he would hide and once the cage arrived at the student section, the costumed Mike would step out and let the real Mike see him. That is what made him roar. And it was cool when the roar was into the microphone and heard throughout the stadium. I am not sure how you could make a tiger roar on command otherwise.

I simply found the poster's comment re: the tiger being somewhat hesitant to be unfortunate.
I understand that others will disagree.
Not a big deal.
A bit of unsolicited advice: There's no need to be so contemptuous with your language; it can show an inability to manage yourself in all situations.
A toast to Mike.

I still want to see him dressed like battle cat with Kevin Faulk or Josh reed riding him like he man to the 50 yard line before a game.

One story, that supposedly comes from the Vet staff, is that during one of his first games in the cage, some a-hole set off a bunch of fireworks right next to him. Ever since then he gets anxious at the sight of the cage

Is this a good thread for me to say, that I hope the tiger from the Tiger Truck Stop, turns on the owner. Mike has a good setup , but not the truck stop tiger. That cat looks miserable.

He's a mutt half bengal half siberian

He's a Siberian tiger which are bigger than Bengal tigers. His cage is big enough to be comfortable for a Bengal tiger which we normally have but not a Siberian tiger.
I also heard that we got the previous Mike when he was much younger and grew up getting into the cage. Current Mike was much closer to fully grown when we got him.

V&S knows you're a lady. That's why he made the comment, you should just show him this

Then his comment is doubly ungentlemanly.
