I'd rather more variety, so that means no permanent game with UF. However, I see can see why the schools with more storied and historic rivalries would want to keep those in tact

Love the Florida game. One of my favorites every year.

Acceptable and only logical, if we have to have permanent rivals, but I would rather rotate the the east fully so we could play the other teams more often especially with expansion.

I don't necessarily have a problem with it. I would rather not play them every year, and it is uneven/unfair. However, if it doesn't change I won't lose any sleep. I'm ok with it staying how it is, but I would prefer change. So does that put me in the OK category?

Florida is fine with me.
Also rotating east teams is fine with me.

We drew Florida as the permanent opponent. We deal with it. We don't cry because we cant't play UGA and USCe more often. LSU-UF is usualy epic, not counting the 90's

Must have taken my opinion from the other thread and inserted it here. That's kind of bullshite but whatever.
This is like those political polls where the answer seems like a negative.
The real poll should ask: Are you in favor of a 6-2 rotation while the four rivals keep a 6-1-1?
Yes to that question.

This is like a health care poll where they ask:
Question 1: Do you want to save people from dying? Well, yeah, of course.
Question 2: Do you support the individual mandate? Hell no, they can't force me to buy a product.
ETA: So in short, go ahead and take me off of your poll OP because I think your question is bullshite.

How is the question bull shite? He wants to know what we think. Most LSU fans are whining because they want to play UGA and USCe more often and get rid of Florida.........which is dumb. We should never get rid of a premier game on our schedule. You play to the best to be the best. Florida is a premier team in the East. We should play them every year, and deal with it.

Because he's making the issue about not wanting to play UF when the actual issue is properly framed of whether LSU fans enjoy the inherent inequity of the constant scheduling format.
I could ask: LSU fans, would you like to play UGA more often?
I bet I would get a lot of responses of "I love Athens." "Athens is neat, I want to go to Nowhere Bar and eat at Last Resort..." blah blah blah.
But playing UGA more means playing UF less. But that wasn't my poll question, so it skews answers to draw the appearance of something that isn't really the issue.
So yeah, it's bullshite.

It's in Atlanta every year, we went last year. Maybe you've heard of it. It's the best against the best. (cough Alabama)

I think the OP is entitled to make the thread about whatever he wants it to be about.

Then start your own thread instead of shitting all over this one.

Just like I'm entitled to disagree with it when he places my name on a poll question I never stated an answer to?
ETA: Before I even posted in this thread, somehow my name was written in the poll question by the OP. So yeah, I think that entitles me to disagreeing with it. so gfy

During my college days at LSU (05-08) Florida was the biggest game of the year so I hope to not go away with the game at all

Im ok with it but my Opinion doesn't matter

As much as I think it is in fact unfair that we have to play UF every year, that's just the luck of the draw.
I hope we continue to play them yearly....I look forward to that game.
aka ACCEPTABLE
