LSU Fan Guide to the SEC Rant

**LSU fans only**
For the younger LSU fans who may wonder why seemingly every SEC fan base has some deep-seated issue with LSU, a brief history lesson:
Ole Miss — Years and years of emasculation is the simplest summary. Little brother finally built a playoff team, only for its coach to remind them very literally that any day at LSU beats the best days at Ole Miss. Kiffin didn’t create the inferiority complex, but he poured gas on it. Arguably the worst coach in Ole Miss history won a national title at LSU. How many can the best coach in Ole Miss history win?
Tennessee — Tennessee brought roses to Atlanta in 2001 expecting Pasadena, but left them scattered on the Georgia Dome floor for LSU’s walk to the trophy. They haven't been the same since. Whenever Tennessee starts believing again, LSU has always been there to remind them of who they are.
Alabama — Alabama spent 15 years believing it was college football, and now its greatest coach is explaining why LSU is the best job, easiest place to recruit and toughest place for opponents to play while helping convince the best active coach in the sport to move to Baton Rouge. LSU doesn’t have to troll Bama anymore. Saban does it for us.
Florida — Les Miles turned beating Florida into performance art with fake punts, bouncing fake field goals and fake field goal touchdowns before the shoe toss provided the perfect encore. LSU doesn't just beat Florida. LSU repeatedly finds the most ridiculous ways to embarrass Florida.
Texas A&M — A&M moved to the SEC believing it had arrived nationally, only for LSU to repeatedly beat them, make their Heisman-winning golden child look ordinary and then let Will Wade turn them into a basketball punching bag too. Few programs have had their SEC aspirations introduced to them as rudely by one school.
Arkansas & Mississippi State — No complicated psychology here: LSU has roughly twice as many wins against both. LSU is less a rivalry than an annual SEC tax for both.
Auburn — This was a legitimately great annual rivalry. Auburn spent the early 2000s believing it belonged beside LSU, even going 13–0 in 2004, only to watch LSU collect the national titles, trophies and national relevance Auburn thought should have been theirs. For a long time, the winner won the West, so this is a rivalry built on good competition.
South Carolina — South Carolina’s LSU obsession finally got an origin story in 2024: blow a 17 point lead, have two pick 6s erased, miss the tying field goal, lose to LSU and spend eternity believing that was the game that stole your only playoff shot in your lifetime.
Kentucky — There’s no real LSU-Kentucky hatred outside the Bluegrass Miracle and a handful of SEC Rant Kentucky posters who have somehow made hating LSU the center of their online identities.
Missouri — In 2023, Missouri produced one of the best teams in school history, watched an LSU team with one of America’s worst defenses beat it in Columbia, then sat helplessly while LSU shopped its coaching staff and roster like a department store.
Oklahoma — LSU took Oklahoma’s national championship from them in 2003, then reunited 16 years later so Burrow could throw 7 first half touchdowns and give a second generation of Sooners an entirely different form of postseason trauma.
Georgia — Georgia finally became the center of the SEC universe yet still trails LSU 3–2 in modern national titles, and now gets to watch Lane Kiffin and a program with every resource Georgia has take the spotlight back.
Texas — Texas rolled out GameDay, McConaughey and the “Texas is back” coronation in Austin, only for Burrow to Jefferson on 3rd and 17 to give college football its permanent "Texas is not back" reaction meme: McConaughey dropping an expletive and then turning for the exits.
So when younger LSU fans ask: “Why does everybody hate us?”
Usually there’s a story. And it is always deeper than having a moral-less coach who wasn't a problem for them until 8 months ago or attempting to roster a couple of injured backup players.

You sure it wasn’t more than a belief? I think it’s reality.

What an ignorant take.
"We won a game 25 years ago and it just ruined Tennessee. So bad they waited 7 more years to fire their coach."
Tennessee OWNS your asses, you low IQ idiot.

Saban loved it so much he left quickly. (5 seasons)
Toughest place to play?
Get LSU down by 10 points and the fans run for the exits like they just announced free whores and liqour in the parking lot.

Not one single Auburn fans thinks LSU was a "rivalry".
No one considers LSU a rival.

Ummm....there are literally team based forums. Not hard at all actually to find them. This forum is not for one fanbase, it is for all fans of SEC teams. It seems very simple.......

That is why your wives, mothers, and daughters leave 10 minutes before the announcement. Have time to get to their mattresses.

1. LSU derangement syndrome produces standard stupid fake outrage
2. "LSU, You can't do that! I'm going to tell Mom!!!!"
3. Gets the facts of the story all wrong
4. Hypocritically ignore all the shady stuff your own school has done
5. "Oh, my school recruited these players too? So what?!"
6. Dunk on LSU even though the SEC ruling wasn't about LSU
7. SEC can't overrule courts, can't enforce their mafia contract <---- YOU ARE HERE
8. Multiple SEC schools end up with class of 2022 players who got cut, thus completing the hypocritical circle
9. Rantards seeth while their LSU derangement syndrome produces next stupid fake outrage
