I don’t post a lot or hardly at all but I have been a member for a long time. Anyway, I got greedy today and almost cost us. In the last 4 games I have watched and we got down early and sometimes big. During the two USC games I turned off the games and we came back to win. During the Tenn game I couldn’t turn it off because I wanted to see us come back to win (which we didn’t). Today I got greedy and wanted to watch it and did up until the end of the seventh when I had to turn it off to attend to some work. And viola we came back to win. So unfortunately I don’t get to watch anymore baseball this year as a self imposed ban. So I’m sorry for the greed and the SEC championship but you are welcome for the the USC and todays game!

As one of the resident poor people on this site, I have worked for Walmart delivery for a year as a second income.
The usual pay for delivering a grocery order is $7.30. That includes me driving to the store, personally shopping for your items, or sitting in the waiting area for 30 minutes for them to load the order in my car. Then I get to drive however far it is to your house, get out in the heat, cold and rain and run your groceries to your door. So by the time I am done, I have spent about an hour of gas and working to make $7.30 for you to be able to not leave your comfy house and still get your groceries.
But you think that I don’t deserve a tip for that?
Just as an example, during Thanksgiving, I had an order that took me 9 separate trips from the car to the door on the third floor of an apartment complex with no elevator. And I was blessed with a customer like you that decided I didn’t do enough for a tip.
And as a side note I am against the whole new tipping for everything society we have created but this is definitely a job that deserves it.

Salt water is heavier than fresh water so it flows up river on the bottom. Since the bottom is lower, it allows the saltwater to creep up more.
Also the same amount of water flowing down the river in those years with a shallow bottom versus now with a deeper bottom had more force to keep the saltwater at bay in the gulf.
