My sauces are telling me "LSU can't match the bag" for 5* DT Jahkeem Stewart.

Any truth to this, baws?

Highest rated class in history. Where are they now?

So don't recruit highly rated players...what a shite take.

Supposedly rats jumping ship. They had #1 qb and lost him to Michigan now recruits and xfer portal heating up.

Would you want to play for Bk?

Has nothing to do with "rats jumping ship" or with BK. All that matters these days is money. The top recruit who left went to a program with less wins than LSU this season. College football is dead under the current lack of rules.

lost one to a guy for what 11 million and another to Texas for who knows what...both staying in their home state. It really shouldn't be calling out LSU's class as much as this is what CFB has become. LSU will still have a good class.

You mean it's dead for LSU, Alabama, Oklahoma and a few other non-AAU schools who didn't care if they got caught cheating.

Now the wealthy AAU schools who happen to have integrity will dominate.

LSU didn’t want those players …. And the cash that was going to be used for those players are now free to use elsewhere for the entire team not one or two players !

They can't and/or won't totally overspend...pick one. The other big bidder is USC...but southern guys are not in awe USCw like the old days. Also..the taxes in Cali are no joke for Millionaires. Hearing that LSU is perturbed that a local kid would squeeze them...but that's on them ..cause for the best of the best...everyone is bringing a bag. And LSU will spend big..they just popped for Carius Curne...as he has really shot up boards...probably a 5 star when they reevaluate at the end of the cycle. Talenr is not their problem...Brian Kelly's perception is their problem..they are kinda over him, and his antics...but know he is a decent coach. He just seems off...supposedly...and from an outsider's view...that tracks

No doubt the kid is talented, but he only has 1 year of HS FB.

Gotta wonder how much tab for all his training has cost.

Personally, it is too much of a risk to overspend on that guy. I see his developmental path like Amobi Okoye's. I'd rather lose the guy out of HS, then make a run at him in the portal after seeing how he develops as a D1 player.

LSU will finish with a top ten class. This happens every year to them it seems and they end up flipping someone out of the blue you never saw coming.

The problem with having the #8 recruiting class and being a member of the SEC is you while you are #8 in the nation but you are #5-6 in the conference. Do it consistently and you will show out OOC but in conference you are playing 3-4 games a season against programs that out recruit you. This is a for real stat and a good reason the SEC has dominated CFB for 20 years. UGA recruited like crazy when Mark Richt was coaching....many times in the top 5-8 nationally but 3-4 in conference. Made for a lot of 10 win seasons, did not mean much else....
