Only if Napier finally gets out of his way and hires an OC. Otherwise it's 7-5 again.

Billy Napier will hold UF back, he’s a dumb arse and so is Starkville Stricklin.
UF needs to throw both of their asses in the bushes.

When a team HAS to hit the transfer portal hard it only says that they are sucking at recruiting HS talent and have to scrounge for other team's leftovers and re-treads. The elite teams recruit well out of HS and use the transfer portal to plug holes, not try and build an entire team.

The other problem is there's just still too much of a gap in recruiting between Kirby and Billy.

Did LSU discover zero point energy or something?

How can it be returning if you never had it?

Just say you have no idea what LSU's team looks like.

Lololololololo
Nah, I see OP's point. This year's defense jumped from ranked in the 90s to somewhere around 50, a pretty solid bump.
Showed a solid pass rush and stopped RBs well (pretty good against pro-style offenses), and that was with a questionable DL and secondary coming in, and loss of the one good LB to injury. Yeah, running QBs destroyed us.
But we've made significant adds on the line and in the secondary, should be able to put MORE pressure and cover better. And it appears that LB prospect will return for his senior year,... which might address the mobile QB issue.
I won't say elite, but we could be actually solid across the board, which would be a huge step.

On offense we're losing bookend tackles, but also seem to have addressed the interior line and it should be ok. Maybe better with the run, and now our 1 good RB is a) established, and b) will have fixed toes. He dislocated them early in the season, which had to be a bitch to run on.
We lose our "WR1" but return a WR who nearly matched his production as a 2nd option, added a couple more in the portal. Our QB will be back for his senior year, after averaging over 300 yds a game as a junior.

It's not a bad setup. I wouldn't be shocked if we make the playoffs.

LSU has dominated the transfer portal, and Florida has got some pretty talented WRs coming in. With Lagway I could see Florida being a very good team next season.

LSU on paper will have an elite defense returning with a lot of their offense back. Rumors are starting to swirl about Perkins returning too.

Will be interesting because I think the SEC is always best when LSU and Florida are top notch. They also play early in the season next year.

LSU fans still don't get it! BK is the one holding LSU back. Notre Dame made the playoffs and even won the first round of the playoffs.

It's BK bro, we're still gonna lose games due to having a soft arse team

LSU fans have been saying that the last few years with BK as the LSU HC. Good Luck with BK running the LSU football program since he got there.
