A very interesting and sassy way to explain all of the empty seats in Tiger Stadium and Joran-Hare yesterday. Your grandfathers are ashamed of you. Might be time to grow a pair.

Over 70 LSU fans had to go to medical! It was serious!

They had no A/C?

Heard that about some other LA players before.

It was 130 index on the field yesterday.

Georgia fans would be wilting and passing out in droves. What Georgia people think is "heat" is a crisp fall day in LA.

That’s why Texas, Texas A&M, Houston, etc. only play night games.

Also the antebellum great grandparents weren’t dealing with climate change and a demonstrably and factual increase in heat and weather in the late summer like we’ve had the last 20 years.

Just anecdotally, summers when I was a kid in Texas were hot and occasionally unbearable, but every day is like Mad Max the last few years.

I’ve been in DV during a 100+ degree game in the early afternoon with very little cloud cover. It SUCKS. Luckily I was sitting in the end zone, but 10 minutes after kickoff everyone in seats with direct sunlight was GONE. They were watching the game on little monitors inside the stadium and around the concessions. Inside the stadium looked like Bourbon Street during Mandi Gras, except everyone was pouring sweat… but in a good mood.

Even in the shaded end zone, though, we still made water runs every 30 mins or so. Luckily, they were giving away free water bottles throughout the stadium.

LSU has NO BUSINESS having midday games before October in DV. It’s just torture on the fans.

Every time I bring horns or aggies to BR for a day game they tap out before halftime.

Folks who spout this crap remind me of the old time beauty pageants where the "contestants" were asked some inane question. The question could have been about the color of the sky but the answer MUST include a comment about "achieving world peace". Most didn't know what "achieving" meant but said it anyway.

Just because it's hot in mid September in the South doesn't mean the reason is "climate change." But then I wouldn't expect less from a supporter of Dildo U.

Heat index over 100 in the Ozarks.
So I know it mist’ve been like 112 in BR.
No more day games in September about to be a thing.

Right - hot as hell

Wrong - Jordon-Hare packed. I was happy to capture the sweet taste of over 88,000 tears.

Sitting in the sun in Tiger Stadium for a noon game is very comparable to hanging out on the Las Vegas strip at noon in early August. I’ve done them both several times.

It was very dangerous heat, sorry we shouldn’t die while watching our favorite football team.

Breaking News at 10:00:

Old fart determines that summertime is now hotter than it was back in the olden days when he was a whippersnapper.

Instead of just accepting the phenomenon as something called aging and not being able to take the heat any longer, like intelligent people have understood for 100,000 years+, this old fart blames it on pseudoscience quackery labeled "climate change".

Next up for discussion, if he can remember what he wants to talk about for more than 10 minutes, is why his eyebrows grow so much faster than they used to and let him try to tell everyone it's because of "modern food".

He will argue with you all day that when he was younger, older people didn't have bushy eyebrows like they do today. A little bit more hairy eyebrows sure, but not like crazy bushy eyebrows old farts get in modern times.

I was in the stadium yesterday. And the heat was not bad…. However. The direct sunlight was COOKING my skin, even with SPF 70, sunblock it was horrendous.

I’m acclimated to the heat just fine. But that sun and no relief was pretty unbearable.

Yeah.

People go to Ft. Benning and the Okefenokee all the time to escape the heat.
