And your "expert" opinion is based on their performance against 3 teams that will be fortunate to have a winning season.

Ole Miss may be fabulous, but you folks that have suddenly declared them the team to beat in the west are reactionary fans

In no way, shape or form am I declaring them the team to beat in the West.

I am saying they are a good team.

Nobody has stated , especially me, that Ole Miss isnt a good team..

But the evidence you've requested is in the original post.. they haven't played a conference game, they haven't played a quality opponent.

Its really pretty simple..the "Ole Miss is the team to beat" chatter is premature. Perhaps they are.. but the team they'll face, on the road in 2 weeks is a sight better than Tulane and Louisville..I promise you

Miami would beat every team Ole Miss has played.

Who are these Ole Miss fans acting like Arkansas fans? I sure don't see em.

Tulane has the 13th hardest sos and Louisville at 24.

That’s one of the strangest gauges of a teams competitiveness I have ever seen.

So all you have to do to be elite playoff caliber is schedule Notre Dame, Clemson, and Ohio State out of conference and play an SEC schedule?

Based on what? Their only win is a 2 point win over App St. They’ve been blown out in their 2 losses. So far, there’s absolutely nothing to show that Miami is better than Tulane or Louisville. I’m not saying that either of them are good, I’m just saying that Miami hasn’t even shown a pulse in 3 games.

So then at this point in the season, with the evidence that is available, who is the team to beat?

Alabama is always the team to beat. Ole Miss is just the team to beat them though. I hate that it’s on the road, I’d pick Bama by a score honestly, but I’d bet we make a real run at you.

One thing is certain, you can't make the playoffs losing to fricking Memphis.

Probably the program that has had the #1 recruiting class about 5 years in a row and has won 6 of the last 12 National Championships..

The team that just beat #11 Florida in the swamp, is currently ranked #1 and has arguably the best College Football Coach of all time roaming the sideline.

Can Ole Miss upset Bama..absolutely they can.. but don't pretend we know how good this Ole Piss team is. Because they've played NOBODY

All of this "they beat them" "we beat them by more" "but they lost to"

Is ghey. No one here thinks UTA is better than ARK because of their scores against Rice.

Did yall see FSU hang tough with Notre Dame? Then FSU lost to Jacksonville State?

Yall sound like girls. Football doesn't work like that. For sure this early in the season

And will be a top 10 team in the polls next week with a quarterback who’s the odds-on favorite to win the Heisman. Enjoy the cellar of the SEC West, runt.

Ole Miss beat Tulane like a drum and Oklahoma struggled with them.

Ole Miss beat Austin Peay. Let's go Peay! The team that beat that powerhouse UTC Team we struggled with.

I like anyone that beats Louisville. That was something the mighty Sad UCF team couldn't do.
