That’s a lie. Louisiana is an LSU State.

It’s not that cfb isn’t king in Texas,
It’s that the fan bases here encompass like 20 different schools; so it’s next to impossible to get a majority for any one university.

The NFL is either Cowboys or Texans.
Obviously the Cowboys have a much deeper tradition than the expansion Texans do.
So it’s zero surprise that the numbers shook out this way.

I call BS on that. LSU is King in Louisiana. Saints are popular, but second tier to LSU

Plus, I’d bet the fans of all those college teams are also fans of NFL teams. That doesn’t really give you an indication of where their true loyalties like though.

For myself, I am a Saints fan, but way after I’m an LSU fan.

Well that is their only pro team and they made the SCF their inaugural year. Got a friend that lives in Vegas and according to them Golden Knight stuff was all over the city that year so I can believe it.

Hard for me to believe the Thunder is bigger than OU but then again the Thunder have been pretty damn good for a while. Just OU is a blue blood CFB program.

Also figured Mass. would be Red Sox over the Pats

I dont buy it for Louisiana.

I mean. New Orleans. One of the more populous cities in the country will skew some stats.

Big time pro states like Missouri find little college states cute.

Really looking forward to the SLU-Auburn game. Hope they don't get boatraced ala Seton Hall at Chaifetz.

Golden Knights. They played in the Stanley Cup Final in their inaugural season two years ago.

Support for the Saints is off the charts in New Orleans. All walks of life love them.

I’d bet a vast majority of the LSU fan base has a direct or indirect connection to the university (themselves alumni or parents/children are alumni). Many folks I know who attended other in-state schools wouldn’t count themselves LSU fans, but just about all native Louisianians I know would say they’re Saints fans.
As for me:
1st
2nd

I don’t believe OK and LA. And find IN questionable.

I never understood how Louisiana can support a pro team, but I guess they receive help from Mississippi and Texas some.
