He definitely doesn't sound very educated in his "responses". I mean, damn, proper English should be a requirement when working for the State

I didn't realize they were alleging mail fraud and bribery in their lawsuit.

Does he have that right?

Mail fraud casts an incredibly broad net. Not sure about the bribery unless she's alleging that looking fhe other way was incentivized.

He went on to say the paperwork said federal court. He was confused because the presser was in front of state court.

I'm glad you caught that. I missed it. I can't walk and chew gum at the same time much less type and listen I suppose.

Oh, I am familiar. It is simply insane IMO that a representative of a state college is allowed to sound so incredibly inept.

Jacques was listening too:

Attorney John McLindon tells
@MattMoscona
Sharon Lewis' lawsuit is pretty well crafted, but as Moscona paraphrases, the $50 million listed is a shock value number. McLindon adds there's a number of people listed, that have no business being listed + should get out quickly. #LSU

Honestly I think the whiskey conversation going on right now may be the most valuable conversation I've heard all week.

He is repeating what he said earlier now about how the lawsuit (which he only would have time to skim) looks pretty well written and it's obvious these lawyers have done this before.

It sounds like they went to PACER and pulled some petitions from other cases to put this one together. While the 50mill number was just pulled out of thin air (no idea why Moscona acts like it is a big deal) there is enough dirt in there to keep this case going.

You know, it has occurred to me that the Louisiana Legislature has some serious fricking chutzpah:

They cut funding to the bone over and over and now this.

Will any of their demands for action be met with funding?

Nah, just more political theater.

It truly amazes me how fans from others universities that would usually be at each-other throat can come together against LSU. It seems to me that you guys are doing the most and wishing for the worst. Yes, some lay players screwed up, and truly, THE PREVIOUS COACH MADE AN ATTEMPT TO COVER IT UP. BUT, let’s not forget the main principle; “ BRPD DIDN'T PRESS CHARGES AFTER THEY HAD CONCLUDED THEIR INVESTIGATION, THEREFORE ALL THEY HAD AND STILL HAVE AT THIS POINT IS ACCUSATIONS! MILES WAS PENALIZED BY LSU AND HIS CURRENT/FORMER EMPLOYER. So was Guice and whoever else that screwed up. THE FEDS FIRST INVESTIGATION INTO WADE CAME UP WITH A BIG FAT “0”. And so will the second (2nd) “for all the slop people from Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas and Florida, “basically all the team that LSU SLAUGHTERED DURING THE 2019, ALL TIME GREATEST 2019 SEASON”. Stip spreading MISINFORMATION AND WISHING UPON A STAR THAT LSU’s TITLES AND EARNED WINS ON THE FIELD BE VACATED OVER OFF THE FIELD ACCUSATION OF INDIVIDUALS THAT ARE DESPERATE FOR ATTENTION AND MONEY. YOU KNOW IT, I KNOW IT AND EVERYONE IN YOU JUNK STATE KNOWS THAT “THE STARS ALWAYS ALIGN FOR LSU AND THE GREAT STATE OF LOUISIANA. JUST INCASE YOU FORGOT “ THE LOUISIANA PURCHASE CONFIRMS HOW MUCH LOUISIANA MEANS TO THIS GREAT NATION IN COMPARISON TO YOUR STATE”. Confirmed case closed! OGERON WILL BE HERE LSU WILL WIN TO 2021 CF CHAMPIONSHIP TAKING ALL BETS SUCKERS!

Based on my cursory research, federal sexual harassment lawsuits must be filed within 180 days of the last harassment. To my understanding, all of these allegations are pursuant to how Les Miles treated her. It's been a lot longer than 180 days since he worked at LSU. I'm sure they'll try to tap dance around that, but I do think that is going to be a concerning issue for Lewis and her lawyers. (or
shouldd be at least)

It doesn't appear that Lewis is suing Miles & LSU for sexual harassment, so it seems that 180 limitation isn't applicable.

Aimee Freeman has no real power. She’s enjoying acting like a big shot but Verge and CEO are basically telling her to kiss their arse. She went to two schools who have always sucked at football (Virginia and Tulane) and this is her chance to get back at a Big Boy sports school. It’s kind of pathetic.
