Better and in a shocking development the service is also better.....I don't know how KFC manages to be soooooooo slow and sooooooo bad at getting an order correct. Popeyes is slow and they can sure frick up an order but they are closed to Chick Fil A and Whataburger in both cases than KFC is. KFC is liable to be sold out of chicken for several days when chicken is right in the damned name....

I don't know why but we have a Copeland's in Smyrna, Georgia (Vinings but its all Smyrna) and it it is pretty damn good but my son and I went to one in Slidell about a year ago and it was basically Shoney's. It even felt a little like a Shoney's....the one in Smyrna is really nice inside and the ambience is what you would expect....the one in Slidell not so much. Any of y'all know why? Wasn't terrible but the one in Smyrna has been one of our go to's for special occasions in Atlanta for a while and the one in Slidell was not that at all..,,

Bojangles biscuits and their tea is legit....chicken isn't as good as the walmart deli...in my opinion.

Piggly Wiggly deli in my area is very good. Lots of homemade items every day like cornbread dressing (not stuffing).
Some meat items they have every day and some they have once or twice on certain days each week.
It is several dollars cheaper than fast food places as well.

As far as fast food fried chicken I think Indies is the best we have. Tons of sides to choose from as well.

Grocery store delis can be very good. Most people know about Publix deli...they are excellent. We have a local chain in our area called KJs and their deli is one of the best meat and 2 lunches you can get. They do salmon patties almost as good as my mama and granny....
The grocery store deli is also far cheaper than fast food in most cases.

Popeyes is just ghetto arse crap around here. No offense. I know of no self respecting man around here that goes there. It’s simply ghetto food here. The section 8 of fast food if you will.
