2012 Williams-Brice Stadium vs UGA. The Cock Pit was defeaning that night. Even UGA players said it was the loudest place they'd ever played.
2010 same local vs #1 Bama ... it was loud.

On the road...
Javier Arenas took a punt to the house to break a 27-27 tie with LSU in 2007. BDS erupted. Fortunately the Chad Jones strip sack on John Parker Wilson quieted things in the waning moments.

The first year Saban arrived at Bama, I was at the LSU-Bama game. That was the loudest I have ever heard the stadium. It was so loud I had a headache for a few days afterward. The upper deck felt like it was shaking. You literally could not talk to the person next to you. That was a great game.

Bama in Death Valley 2012 was the loudest I have ever heard anything. For the entire game minus the last few seconds everyone was on their feet screaming at he top of their lungs. It wasn't just the decibel level, but the sustained intensity.
Every SEC stadium can get loud for a moment, and there may have been louder moments in every stadiums history than that night, but nothing will compare to how loud that stadium was for 3 hours. I swear no one stopped

I have a hard time with individual moments because I'm usually going too nuts myself to really take it in.
The 06 Florida at AU is the loudest game start to finish I can remember with the block punt being the wildest moment.
02 UGA after we scored stopped them at the 10 on the ensuing kickoff and then sacked them on the next play back at 1 was an insane sequence but then Musa Smith ripped off like a 50 yard run on the next play and ended in the infamous 4th and 15.

Kick six was insane and was easily the best sporting event moment I've ever been to. Glad I got to witness it in person.
The prayer @ JHS vs GA the same year was also crazy and would have been the top, except it was overshadowed by kick six.
1993 JHS Auburn vs FL was the loudest game I've ever been to. I remember not being able to hear my own yells and screams over the crowd and my ears were ringing by the end. It was great to watch a pissed off spurrier too.

My 2nd trip ever to BDS and holy hell, a teenage David Ricky was scarred for life after this. I will never forget the sound of rammer jammer echoing through my head on my way out of that place.
That gave me the feelings.
- 1996 Riddle game winner vs Auburn at Legion Field, I was young but it was euphoric
- 1998 at Neyland, Peerless Price Kickoff Return for TD after Shaun cut the lead to 3 I think. I was 13 and I'd never heard anything like that.
- 1999 "they covered the decoy" game clinching TD vs Mississippi State
- 2003 Caddilac first run TD at Auburn vs Alabama
- 2005 entire first half vs Florida
- 2005 rammer jammer vs Florida
- 2005 rammer jammer Tennessee
- 2006 Arkansas when Tiffin missed the FG at the end of regulation and the XP in 2OT
- 2006 Tennessee go ahead TD vs Alabama
- 2007 Caddell GW TD catch vs Arkansas
- 2007 UGA GW FG miss end of regulation
- 2007 Javy Arenas punt return vs LSU
- 2008 LSU when they blocked the kick end of regulation
- 2008 JPW to Stover and rammer jammer Auburn
- 2009 Rocky Block
- 2009 rammer jammer SECCG with Tebow crying on jumbo Tron
- 2010 1st half Auburn
- 2013 post-4 sacks in a row vs Mettenberger vs LSU
- 2014 C Murder vs Mississippi State
The games in 2005 and Sabans first few years were generally the loudest. Young people like me had spent our entire lives ready to be good again and to finally beat our rivals. It was like shaking up a bottled beer and popping the top.

2002 SEC Chammpionship in Ga Dome....we blocked a punt against Ark in the first Q. The block might be the single loudest moment I have heard in the Georgia Dome.

The least crowd noise was when the eagle flew into the window during the pregame flight. Everyone held their breath...followed by a few chuckles.

Neither were even my team but definitely the loudest I've ever attended. I was in the student section on the field on the last play.

I went to a ton of Bama games from '05-'09. I have to agree. I was 11 during the 1992 season, and had only been to a few games, mostly in Birmingham. As I got a little older, we didn't go as much since we had moved to south Alabama. It picked back up in the early 2000s when I was at Troy and had an older sister at Alabama.
I had graduated from Troy in 2004, and had a little sister at Bama up until 2007 or so. My parents would come up for a weekend, stay in Birmingham either with my family or our older sister. Dad and I would ride over Saturday mornings, pretty early, and go visit my younger sister. Then we'd hit up a few places and head to campus. I also had season tickets to Troy during this time, and Dad would drive up and meet me for some of those. Basically any time Troy had a road game, and Bama was at home, we'd try to go to Tuscaloosa.
2005 we went to the Florida game and then the Tennessee game. 2006-07 were odd years. The end of Shula and the start of Saban.
2008, I remember the Tulane game, Kentucky game, and Ole Miss game. All wins, but looking back at the score, closer than they should have been.
2009, I think we went to half the home games. The scores were getting farther apart. Close games were mostly a thing of the past. We went to the Arkansas game, USCe, Tennessee, and took my young daughter to the Chattanooga game.
2011 we went to Kent State, Arkansas, UT, and LSU. It kind of slacked off after that since we all had small children. But those 4-5 seasons were just a great atmosphere. Finally being a good team again with a ton of younger fans that were genuinely excited for the program.

Yeah as great of a game as we had in 2003, I noticed a very big difference in the atmosphere and confidence of the fans in 2007. It felt like a changing of the guard was taking place and it was the first time in my life atp that I felt like Bama was about to become a monster again.
I remember thinking to myself "Fulmer and Saban are gonna be battling it out for a while and this rivalry is about to get really good again."
And then 2008 happened and VOLS football went headfirst off a cliff

The loudest moment in Tiger Stadium history was during a commercial break. 2007 Florida at LSU, the famous 4th down game. During a timeout, the LSU announcer read the final score of then #2 USC vs. Stanford at the end of the 3rd quarter. USC lost, meaning that LSU would be unanimous #1 with a win versus Florida. There was still a lot of bad blood between LSU and USC back in those days after the media did that split championship bullshite since they didn't agree with the BCS. Listen for yourself. The high level of noise lasted for several minutes without stopping, and there wasn't even any game action going on.
Came here to say this... It was mind blowing how loud and how long it lasted. You knew we were going to win that game when they announced it. It felt like the entire stadium was yelling at the top of our lungs for the entire second half.
I'll never forget it.
