Florida vs Bama 2005. The entire game. Loudest game from start to finish I've ever heard at BDS.
Ricky Block 2009
McCarron to Cooper for go ahead and eventually the winning TD SEC Championship 2012

And you're believing this because a news report said so? The news also reported the opening was supposed to be March 1st. Then June 1st. Then July 30th and then 2 months ago it was reported as being Aug 26.
I'm not saying it won't be ready but by all accounts I have no reason to believe that it won't be delayed again. I spoke with someone this week who is in ATL often and he said there was no way in hell it would be ready for Bama/Fl State. He also said it was rumored that seats which had been taken out of the Georgia Dome were being reinstalled. Maybe that's for insurance and maybe it's because they know the new stadium will not be ready. Either way that's not a promising sign.
On top of this cluster is that fact that those who have ordered tickets through the Universitys usually get those tickets about a week before the game. With the logistical nightmare it would create by having to create new tickets and get them to the buyers I'd imiagine if there is another delay we will probably find out by late July or early August at the latest.

There's only one thing Saban can do at Bama that would concern me and that day will come when he decides he is no longer the HC there.

Here's my rant on this subject:
I've been complaining for 3 decades about Bama fans and their either complete lack of understanding of their importance in helping our defense by making noise or their complacency in just expecting Bama to win.
Last night I had a great seat in the lower bowl on about the 40. I was standing and yelling every down our D was on the field. I was one of the few in my general area who were doing so. The woman (Bama fan) in front of me and one seat to my right would snap her head and look at me every time I began yelling. She was clearly perturbed.
Halfway through the 2nd qtr I ran up to go to the restroom and ran into a friend of mine who was clearly shaken up. She thought her husband was about to get arrested. She then proceeded to tell me it all stemmed because he had been yelling and a woman (Bama fan) told him to be quiet. He lost it and went off on her and she called security. Nothing happened over this but it is illustrative of our sorry fanbase. Not everyone mind you but a large percentage.
I left and walked back to my seat. First thing I noticed was the entire section of 235 which was dead on the 50 was seated and this wasn't during a timeout or anything. Play was taking place as I walked by the section. It was as if everyone came to a movie or play. Simply inexcusable in my book but sadly this is what I've come to expect.
In the few rare moments last night when the crowd was yelling it clearly had an impact as Clemson had to call timeouts. Why is this so hard for Bama fans to comprehend?
If you're going to sit down and shut up then do it in the comfort of your home.
Was Bama outnumbered by Clemson fans in the stadium? Clearly. But honestly we could've outnumbered them 8-1 and they still would've been making more noise.

re: Bama Fans, how would you react to a loss Monday?

They've got to beat Bama at some point. I mean it's been over 110 years since the last time Clemson beat Bama in football.
So it wouldn't be a shock if they finally beat Bama.

Bama beat LSU 10-0. How could LSU be down by 11+ at any point in that game?

Kirby was actively recruiting before the NC. Pictures of him in GA gear with recruits in their home confirm this. He had already mailed it in.
My gut is that Saban isn't going to tolerate that bs anymore. If a coach is gone mentally then they need to be gone physically especally if they're already hired with another SEC school prior to the playoffs.

If Bama plays like they did in Dallas...no.
If they play like they did this past Saturday ...most definitely.

Well Blinn is now official. Watch for Sheffield to be at UGA next year. Kirby is going to raid Bama's cupboard

Not A&M. But another SEC school. East division

Even though I've seen a boatload of Bama games in the 40 years I've been attending games, the only stadiums where I've seen an SEC matchup game are Legion Field, T-town, Auburn, Superdome and Georgia.
This thread has made me realize I need to branch out more.

Vols will be toughest SEC road game for Bama. Interestingly Saban is 9-0 vs Vols since arriving in Tuscaloosa. The longest streak was 11 wins from '71-'81.
Saban has a legit shot at breaking Bryant's record.

1) Because LG is a dumpster fire.
2) Getting shook down by the hoodrats to park on the street only to be shook down when you come back to your car because they've "been keeping an eye on it for you"
LG is about 5 mins from my house but I'll gladly make the drive to T-town.
I saw some epic games at LG from the 70s through the 90s. It was a special place in it's prime.

Sorry if I came to the wrong conclusion.
On a side note I recently have read a few books that are off the mainstream Church route but are ones I found incredibly eye opening.
When Misfits Become Kings. This book really nails down some questions that should be both raised and answered in religion particularly Christianity but rarely are. And offers thought provoking self reflection.
The Supernatural Battle by Richard Grund, Aside from some glaring grammatical errors from poor editing the content is hair raising and has first hand encounters of the supernatural.
Brotherhood of Darkness This book goes into great detail (often sleep enducing) of real people and entities that exist that control all aspects of life on earth from political, financial, and spiritual worldwide going back hundreds and hundreds of years.
They're all worth reading regardless of one's religious beliefs.

Your question is interesting but I don't think you're asking the right question.
I'm guessing off your question that you're an atheist. Religion (particularly organized religion) isn't going anywhere. The problem I have with Christianity is that the church as a whole has completely abandoned the very Word of God that they so proclaim to believe and preach.
We are in a time of apostasy and false prophets...of having our ears tickled...of fearing the displeasure of man as opposed to fearing the displeasure of God...of accepting sin and political correctness instead of recognizing it as deception from the enemy.
Deception is everywhere. I reiterate...religion isn't going anywhere.

I hope it's Dabo.
What is the infatuation with Dabo? It is ONLY because he's a Bama grad. Look where internal promoting got us after Bryant. If anything it should've taught Bama to look elsewhere outside the program. The very fact that Dabo is screaming at the refs during the NC "WE DIDN'T HAVE A CHANCE TO CATCH THE BALL!!!!" during the onsides kick is enough for me to say "I'll pass."
