Re: 1972 Ole Miss-LSU game

Yep. That was the ole timekeeper game at Baton Rouge. LSU ran three plays in 10 seconds. These were drop back passes (no shotgun snaps in those days). No way did they get three plays off in that amount of time except with help of slow handed clock operator. :)

Chris Davis's "Kick Six" comes to mind. Magical things can happen at Jordan-Hare Stadium.

An LSU lineman (I want to say it was T Bob) put him on his arse right after that. Ref was definitely looking the other way.

Javier Arenas punt return to give Bama a 7 point lead over LSU in 2007 will always stand out to me as an underrated loud moment. BDS went nuts, and then was immediately silenced after the strip sack on JPW that set up the game winning TD for LSU.

Non-LSU: 2014 NBA Finals Game 5, when the Spurs had the massive run against Miami that put the Heat in a hole they wouldn’t get out of, AT&T Center was going nuts.

2003 Ole Miss vs LSU for the SEC West.

Ole Miss intercepted the first pass of the game and returned it for a Touchdown.

The one that jumps out is 2007 LSU-Florida in Tiger Stadium.

What was happening on the field was incredible, but the ticker showed USC's loss to Stanford.

We were still a little sore about 2003.

Most of the big LSU games have already been mentioned.

One of the most underrated, loudest games I remember being at as an LSU fan was the 2014 Ole Miss - LSU game. Ole Miss came into Baton Rouge undefeated and #3 or 4 in the country. LSU had a couple losses and was not expected to win at all. It was like a 10-7 game or something like that. It was loud as hell all game long, getting ridiculous any time Ole Miss had the ball. Great experience.

was watching on tv, but Oregon state was playing LSU and the game had gone into overtime, Oregon state scored and missed th field goal follow-up and I swear the glass on the tv shattered when the stadium erupted.

You want to talk underrated, go check out the USCe vs LSU 2012 game. That stadium was bonkers.

Im happy to see this is the first one posted. I was at that game too (Senior at UT at the time), and it was the loudest I have ever personally witnessed. Sucks we went on to lose but that's one of the best games i've ever seen. And I was there from '10-14 so we really didnt get many good games in that span. Maybe like 3
