When we blocked the FG attempt, that was the loudest I've ever heard the stadium erupt.

'09 Rocky Block was MUCH louder than that.

UF misses the kick vs. UT in Neyland in '98.

I've been to huge games where UT lost on the road to the other loud places (UF '99, LSU '00, Aubie '03) and it didn't come close.

LSU and UF are more consistently loud, but that one moment probably won't be topped by anyone anywhere.

Auburn/LSU last year in JHS was pretty loud just in general at the beginning, not a specific play.

Auburn/Tenn in Knoxville this year was pretty loud at times, but I think part of that was due to I've never been where there are people above me and had noise coming down from up top like that.

Specific plays/moments @ JHS:
The blocked punt against Florida in 2006.
Caddy's touchdown run on the first play from scrimmage against Bama in 2003
The end of the 2001 Florida game
Rudi Johnson's TD run to win the Georgia game in 2000.

I was there for both...no comparison between BDS and TS. TS wins hands down.

Arenas return was very loud and so was Saturday vs Tn but I think its either the configuration of BDS or the fact they allow so many blue hairs to still get tickets makes it not as loud as Auburn, Florida or LSU. I have always wondered why and have been to every stadium in the conference. I would compare Bryant Denny to both Ole Miss and Arkansas in term of loudness.

I was there for both also, and in no way was TS louder "hands down." They were close, but I am going to have to give the nod to last saturday.

I've been to most of the SEC stadiums, and in general, TS is the loudest, with Neyland a close second. But with that said, the USCe fans in Columbia rocked as loud as anything I've ever heard, earlier this year when they had Ole Miss on the rocks. That place was literally shaking.

War Memorial Stadium- McFadden's 80 yard TD run vs LSU in 2006

Arkansas played LSU in Baton Rouge that year and War Memorial holds 50,000 people, meaning there may have been 40,000 hog fans there.

Negative. This was right before Trindon's kick return for a TD.

Yeah, you're right.

Regardless, WM holds 50,000 people and LSU travels pretty well.

3. 2007 Bryant Denny Bama-LSU, when Arenas returned the punt

I was there.. A bama fan leaned over and asked me " Has it ever been this loud in Tiger Stadium?"

I said... "If we were in Tiger Stadium... I wouldn't be able to hear your question".
