I want Drunk to stay, but if he wants to move on then I'm not upset.
Missouri has become one of the better jobs in the SEC and the country. Sure some other teams have more money or located closer to talent rich areas, but Mizzou has big boy NIL funding and little to no scrutiny or pressure. The NIL money isn't going to dry up if Drink leaves, and a coach could have a 30 year secure position as long as you win 8-10 games a year and a decent shot to make the playoffs.
With all of the mess going on in major college football, job security and an admin that stays out of your way, has to be desirable. That and a legitimate NIL backing makes it a good job.
Mizzou is paying top 10ish coavh salary and NIL right now but not getting top 10 results. And no one is putting any pressure on Drink (except for people not liking the OC Moore).

So they fire a coach that was winning 9 games at Vandy with no resources and hire a coach winning 9 games a year at Missouri with massive NIL money Missouri’s paying and that loses to every good team he plays?

Imagine firing Franklin for never winning the big game, and then hiring Drink.
Would be one of the more head-scratching coaching hires in recent memory.

Drink is 0-16 in games against SEC teams that finish over .500 in conference play. Think that’s right.

Now that Mizzou has been eliminated from playoff contention several schools will move on him
