That portion I have no doubt.
I work in IT... if someone turns in their two week notice, we usually say, "Thanks, here's the rest of your pay, now go home." We still pay them for the two weeks, but we sure as hell don't let them retain access to everything.

Fair assessment.

Yep. He gave them his "two week notice" and fully intended to keep working, but Ol Miss did what shitty employers do when given a two week notice. Kicked him to the curb.

I work in IT. Last time I put in two weeks they asked if I could stick around any longer to help transition my staff.
I said no, but I busted arse with them for two weeks. Random anecdotes from ppl making regular-person money aren’t some sort of mic drop.
