Is the fact that Clemson’s program is falling apart. Three losses this year. Venables is going to Oklahoma. Competition in ACC picking up with Miami likely getting Cristobal. I, for one, look forward to this decline.

Georgia broke them in Game One.

You're welcome.

Tigernet says the "Clemson culture" will sustain them through the upheaval.

Hasn't been lost on me. I heard the sounds of the Carolina pipeline opening back up.

They'll be back. Everyone (meaning VT, Miami, FSU) had an opportunity to step up this year and we ended up with Wake Forest and Pitt in the ACCCG. No one ready to challenge Clemson on an annual basis in that conference

yeah they got busted running the player payments through a church (very classy) so their recruiting fell off a cliff. beyond that they struck gold with watson and lawrence and unless they keep pulling NFL starting QBs out of their arse i don't see how they don't fade into mediocrity

Wouldn't surprise me if Dabo starts looking for another job. Everything is falling apart around him.

Cristobal doesn't mean shite for Miami. Their program is dead until their admin takes football seriously

Is that a definite? because I don't think it is. Pretty sure they have already picked someone else and will announce it a bit later.

I agree, but there’s also talks of an on campus stadium. Could be interesting.

Won't be long before Dabo flaps his ears and flies away.

This is why no one likes Georgia fans. Bama fans are arrogant, to the point of stupidity at times, but have won enough to back it up. Georgia invents these scenarios, specifically this one I’ve seen multiple times this year, that they “broke Clemson/Arkansas/whoever else”. Really it’s just a method to try and give themselves some kind of extra moral victory since they seemingly can’t win a championship, even in a year where all the “traditional playoff powers” Bama/OSU/Clemson/Oklahoma are down at the same time while having a veteran laden team.

They still made four NC games in five years and won two of them demolishing the GOAT coach 44-16 in one of them. That’s damned impressive.

I know a bunch of SEC schools that would kill for a run like that. The schadenfreude in this post is just plain old jealousy.

Bingo......does no NC winning coach get at least one year to rebuild. Nobody other than Bama can match the success Dabo and Clemson's had in these past 6 years.
