Lost in all of this is that Arik Gilbert is apparently returning potentially to LSU.

Mike Farrell dude has said multiple times now that he thinks Gilbert might return. And now has said he reached back out to LSU to return.

I didn’t call him any names but a quitter. But recently I changed my tune. Hearing the rumors of stuff going on with him.

No, I really think it was a shitty thing to walk out on his team.....but I really hated the thought of playing against him at UGA / Bama / UF.
So, yeah for that reason alone, I'd take him back.
But, I'm betting they put this up to a team vote and make him pitch it to the team so they can let him know how they feel.

If he does come back, I hope they consider moving him to WR or at least split him out wide the majority of the time. He's never seen a block he wants to make. But needless to say he's a matchup nightmare in the passing game.

The guy is the ultimate physical specimen. Not sure about everything else, and like I said, he really appeared to have an aversion to blocking. Would love to see him at WR if he comes back.
