I was comparing Gilbert to the great NFL receiver Calvin Johnson , someone starting talking shite , he’s not like Calvin , Calvin runs a 4.4 so I said , yea you right he’s not , Gilbert had a 4.7 high school Calvin was 5.0 , the troll never replied , I heard a rumor he’s at 4.5/4.4 I jus threw it out there see if anybody knew

I would not have known about those if it were not for this forum and LSU fans bringing them here. He was trashed by LSU fans unmercifully on the board, and when asked for links was totally ignored. You mentioned

So I'll ask again. Does anybody have a link to anything substantive, or are these all stories made up by LSU fans because he was leaving?

I want to give LSU fans the benefit of the doubt, but the only stories that have come out seem to be from LSU fans that are mad....including

1. He is a cancer in the clubhouse
2. He is on drugs
3. He is bi-polar
4. He has mental problems
5. He is soft/no chest

All of these can't be true, yet all have been stated as if they are fact by......LSU fans after he decided to leave. I did not see a single one while he was a Tiger.
