At the end of the day, football is a game and these are student athletes, kids barely out of high school. Lighten up.

This is an antiquated perspective. Some of these kids are already being given salaries that approach what their position coaches make. I know the guy that Kirby criticized isn’t in this group, but can you imagine the bullcrap that would come with coaching a teenager who owns a Lamborghini?

What's "radically different" in the philosophy this year? The results and playmakers obviously aren't the same but I don't see much difference in the philosophy from last year other than relying heavily on the passing game.

I think it’s caught up to Georgia this season that they haven’t had a wide open offense in any season other than the Monken years.

This season might be different if they had more playmakers but they’re being negatively hit in recruiting by the fact they have never had a wide open offense with playmakers putting up big numbers. I think anyone can agree it’s been pretty wild how elite Georgia has continually been despite not having any dynamic playmakers on offense outside of Brock Bowers. You could make an argument for Pickens but he never put up huge numbers due to injuries, etc. Recruits are pitched that by opposing coaches.

Had over 4,000+ yards passing with 480+ attempts last year. That's 1,000 more yards and 150+ more attempts
than Bama last year

Philosophy isn't different but the roster (especially the playmakers) certainly are.

They pretty much tried to replicate Monken offense last season. Philosophy. Not scheme. They could do it well too. You had multiple capable backs, Bowers, offensive line was incredible. Playcalling wasn’t as good as Monken but looked much more similar to wide open. FWIW I don’t think you need to change the scheme. Pro Spread works. You need a philosophical changed.

The playmakers are less than this year and the playcalling and philosophy is atrocious in general. How many fricking WR screens has Georgia run this year? How many downfield passes? It looks like classic Bobo playcalling that got covered up last year with a really great team. You need a more expansive offensive playcalling and philosophy than Bobo and you need it quick before you lose more recruiting battles in the future.

Why are you comparing Kirby to saban?

You’re right, Dabo is a much better comparison for Kirby.

Please tell us about all of these juggernaut SEC West programs that Saban was forced to go up against in his last 7 or 8 years at Alabama.

So the scheme is fine but the "philosophy" is the issue?

What exactly is the "philosophy?"
Too many screen passes? Too many passes in general?

Saban bailed. This is a new game with new pressures. Maybe Smart is breaking in this environment. But Saban said frick it and left.

Saban was 94 years old, dumbass. While Smart looks like he is in his 90's, he hasn't even reached 50 yet. If Saban could change and adapt while in his 90's, why can't Kirby seem to change while being a much younger person.

Maybe Smart is stupid. He sure seems stupid the way he has been acting lately. Publicly cursing a teenager, who was not even around to defend himself, because he met a friend and said hello to him after a game, wtf?

Saw a YouTube video of a player, a former linebacker, telling a Saban story. The player asked Saban how miss Terry was doing. Saban replied to him, "she would be doing a lot better if you could cover a f....ing back coming out of the backfield." That sums up Saban.
