Great player

Agreed. In his last four games, he's gotten to play against Ga in the SEC CG, ND in the NC, Va Tech and now another top 6 team in the Aggies. Gotta be exciting for him.

Everyone is joking about this defense but with the personnel that Bama has, it makes the most since. Just think of a 4-2-5 defense, minus a linebacker, with hard hitting safeties like HaHa, Vinnie and Landon coming up in the box. When Bama win this game with that D, everyone will call CNS a genius and follow suit like always.

That's pretty much the same D lsu beat them with last year.

They ran a 4-2-5 with 4-1-6 personnel.

So he's actually a copy cat

Some of our DBs could start at LB for your defense.

Good observation. Bama is going to put a quick, slightly lighter, yet hard hitting D on the field. Collins is the new evolution in college defenses. The safety / linebacker hybrid.

Landon Collins is that dude that went to Dutchtown, right? He's supposed to be pretty damn good from what I remember. Hope he has a great game!

If Bama does this consistently, A&M will rush for more yards than Bama does.

Saban stated yesterday at his PC that no one on the team is effected by yesterday's Yahoo! Sports story. We've known about these allegations since May at the very latest and Stinson played in the game vs. Virginia Tech

please link the private press conference you and Nick Saban had stating a specific date of knowledge because the one I watched didn't have it. He and all other coaches are smart. Never timestamp knowledge of an allegation. If found guilty, your fricked. All he said was our compliance department has been investigating. When asked "when the university was first informed of the allegations" he stated "he had already commented on the situation and that he was their to talk about the upcoming game".

Very fast, and a good tackler.

They seemed to be getting pressure the first game. I'm hoping that continues without extra help.

Virginia Tech's offensive line is awful and was missing a couple starters. We have what might be the best offensive line in the country with two first round picks at tackle.

Manziel will be your leading rusher at about 65 yards

Saban said that.

Other sources have said that, not Saban. Nice of you to watch Alabama's weekly press conference though

A&M averaged 8.7 YPC last year with five or fewer in the box.

Against Florida we averaged 6.8

Against LSU we averaged 6.4

Against Bama we averaged 6.5

Three times we average over 10 YPC in such situations in a game.
