Tigers have solid pitching but are missing great hitters! *

LSU has the best lineup in the country and maybe the best hitter in the country.

That was by far our worst hitting night of the year thus far. Great pitching by Ole Miss.

Those types of hitting numbers won't happen often though

Yea, I don't expect Fraley, Laird, and Bregman to go 0-19 very often.

You're trolling right? LSU's lineup is loaded. Last night was just a combination of good pitching by Ole Miss and an off night at the plate for those guys. They're as complete of a team as you'll find.

This is it in a nut shell and porn star at 1st was a one man wrecking crew with his bat and more so with his fielding.

Orvis saved the game three times in the field between scoops and that double play. 19th round draft pick out of high school but undrafted last year

Sorry, but that's not going to happen. Plus we have pitching woes. Great hitters, however.*

Felt bad for him though. It bugged the hell out of him as it should. He struggled his freshman year behind Matt, then had a shaky sophomore year where he tried to do too much, then he put it all together last year and was a star. I find it hard to believe there are 50 rounds of players better than him, including Johnny fricking Manziel getting taken.

You can say that about every college baseball team in America.

I agree whole heartedly. I knew he had it in him from his freshman year, and last year it all came together. It was surprising that he wasn't drafted, but probably for the better for him and us-though he may not have seen it that way then.

I'm sure glad to see him back in a Rebel uniform. I was at a couple practices in the offseason and younger guys all gravitated toward him. Seriously, anytime he was talking about baseball, working out or just shooting the shite, he had a crowd of 5-10 guys that were all ears. He's an excellent leader.
