No doubt, Bama gets an asterisk for any little anomaly but LSU is the undisputed 2003 champs. Well, ask USC who won it in 2003. If Alabama deserves an asterisk because tOSU got caught cheating and was ineligible and an asterisk because of the Covid rules that everybody played under, then LSU deserves at least an asterisk as they were NOT unanimous national champs. You could also put one there as the ONLY 2 loss national champs.
LSU fans don't believe in any poll pre 2000 ( And I wouldn't either if I were them) but those polls were legit for the times, whether they were born or not.

Chicken,what these Horns and Sooners fans don't get is. That the entire conference pushes the others to be elite. True,Bama and Georgia currently set the bar. But without everyone else pushing them to become better is what sets the SEC apart from other leagues.
Texas and Oklahoma have never been in that kind of environment.
They will learn and fast how on top of your game you will have to be to compete here. The SEC IS BIG BOY FOOTBALL.
They need to just sit in the back of the bus and do as told.
