What was started today by the SEC cannot stop the 5 for 5 ruling that was already made. The individual will win..
The SEC has said you can play them. But you will be punished for doing as a program. If the program them decides not to play them then that player would have to sue the team that is preventing them from playing.
This was all voted on and approved with a unanimous 16-0 vote. So your own President approved it

I understand what the SEC is trying to do, but they have NO power to enforce it. The NCAA ruling has set the precedent.....Night...

It hasn't. The SEC isn't a party to that lawsuit. They aren't preventing them from playing under NCAA rules.
The SEC is seeking to enforce SEC rules. The players are welcome to file a new lawsuit and sue the SEC over it. But that won't be in state court in East Baton Rouge. That will be in federal court.

That’s the difference. The main reason the NCAA loses their cases so often is because they’re considered a monopoly that is unavoidable. The SEC isn’t that. If y’all don’t like it you are free to go to any other conference that will have you or be independent.

The SEC will never, ever win. Sorsby could be still be playing. Each individual player will have to make their own decision, and their own litigation.

Make lsu forfeit games for playing a disqualified player. The ruling says the player can play. It says nothing about the sec punishing lsu for playing an ineligible player.
