Not really. The Protect College Sports Act will most certainly address this if not already written into the bill.
Clear cut rules on eligibility will be defined and written into law. Some local judge may interdict but ultimately the Supreme Court will rule in favor of the Protect College Sports Act. If it doesn’t, the law will be rewritten in a manner where the Court will accept.
Logic tells you that flooding the college ranks with NFL players will destroy College sports.
Sanity is coming soon and with the passage of the PCSA, the new commissioner of College Athletics, Saint Nicholas Sabanovich will be announced to implement nationwide.

At this point I doubt you see much action from these players' lawyers outside of some strongly worded twitter posts. These guys are on contingency and know they will just be wasting their time and money trying to bring a legal action against the conference. Even LSU approved the statement yesterday. So I suspect the president of LSU told Lane directly or indirectly to cut out the BS.
The players really do not have a remedy against the SEC for the SEC's decision to apply its internal governance procedures to members who, in the discretion of the commissioner, are harming the league.
Arguing that the SEC is covered by the existing injunction is laughable. I question whether the court would even have jurisdiction over the SEC (especially as the players bringing the TRO would need to prove they have standing in a lawsuit on the merits against the SEC for the SEC applying its bylaws to members).
Texas Tech and Sorsby had very, very good lawyers. Who were smart enough to know that the Big 12 absolutely had the power to punish Tech under their bylaws if they decided to play Sorsby. They disappeared like a fart in the wind once the Big 12 played its trump card. Here, the SEC bylaws are even more robust than the ones used by the Big 12. This thing is over.
