They have played 4 junior colleges and a dumpster fire auburn and ranked 7th. Meanwhile tennessee has played 4 ranked teams (one top 3) and can barely squeek in 3rd. The best thing to do is schedule nobodies. Sos doesnt matter

Are you counting the Pitt team that lost at home to Georgia Tech among your ranked teams? Or the 4-3 Florida team that may very well finish the year at 6-6?

What does barely squeaking into 3rd mean?

Polls are retarded. MSU is ranked with the same record and a loss to unranked LSU. Tulane is ranked. Polls only give worthless sports writers and coach’s secretaries something to do on a Sunday morning.

Were they ranked top 15?

Are we counting georgia #1 after barely squeeking by missouri and kent state? Biggest fraud in college football

Congratulations on your win…strange that you’re thinking about little Ole Miss.

We play in the SEC West. We will have to earn it to stay there. Rankings in October are pointless anyway. Why not just celebrate you first win over Bama in 15 years?

OM catching shite from Tenn and UGA the last 24 hours. We must have finally made it.

"We" aren't. The Coaches and Sports Writers, however, are. This week.

So, we have that going for us

I think Troy might be better than your number two win. Georgia Tech has beaten your number three win on the road. Kentucky also hammered Florida. Pretty similar schedule outside of Alabama.

I mean they’re 7-0 kind of hard not to rank them highly at this point

If Georgia beats Florida can the Dawgs also count that game as a win against a ranked team? See now why you should use current rankings?

I swear it's been so long for Tennessee that they've apparently forgotten that it is the current ranking that you use. After the season is finished then you use the final ranking.

Maybe because UGA is undefeated and the defending National Champion and those types of teams get the benefit of the doubt. Whereas teams that finally break 15 year losing streaks to their biggest rival and haven’t won their conference in 24 years do not?

If florida is ranked when they play them, sure. Its not rocket science.you guys are so used to playing nobodies you dont understand. One fluke season in the weakest yr of college football history last yr and you think you are a schedule expert

I guess the UK win was a decent win. It will all shake out in the end. Who cares what they’re ranked after week 7? Let them enjoy it

Your team had its biggest win in 16 years on the gridiron last night against Alabama, yet you’re here talking about Ole Miss.

Current at game time makes more sense. Teams evolve during the year, some get better, some worse. Key injuries can cause a team to be a completely different team.
