Disagree, Kingsbury would be a mediocre hire. I'd press for Aranda and even Campbell before Kingsbury.

Those 2 are tops on my list also.

I get it, but that's what's being reported as OU's current target.

Ouch. I thought the rumor of Kiffen would be a great fit. With the offensive talent Oklahoma has?

There is a difference between who OU wants, and who it gets.

No, you aren't pulling a reasonably successful NFL Head Coach back to the college ranks.

At Arizona he's at a contender with a top 5 QB in the league...no way. Would make 0 sense. If a NFL coach leaves it's usually because he has no QB.

Joe C has the green light to pay 15 mil a year. He can get who he wants with OUs reputation.

Kigsbury isn't leaving the NFL for OU. Especially with the move to the SEC

I mean there’s absolutely no way he leaves the cardinals but if that’s where Oklahoma wants to waste their time then fine

And you LSU folks have a helluva track record at prognosticating future coaches.

This sounds a lot like the Gruden to Tennessee rumors. He is killing it in the NFL this year with a new contract coming. I have a tough time believing he would leave Arizona and the biggest stage in the sport to return to the world of recruiting hs kids and recruiting them to Norman Oklahoma of all places.
