Listen to the short interview yourself. Kiffin handled this in a very mature and tactful way.

No need to insult Ole Miss or the players.

lol 90%+ of non-LSU fans are not on your side on this. Lane quit and the AD showed him the exit

Because they are hating tunnel vision bitches like you. The NCAA made this stupid arse shite with the portable and early signing day. If you are coaching baseball for the Cardinals and the fricking Yankees call and ask you to be their coach, and your career is being a coach you take the fricking job. LSU gave him their blessing to stay and finish the year, the AD decided other wise. Any human takes a better job when offered to them most of the time in just about every field of work in the world, the players are holding teams hostage and are getting paid like professionals and flip flopping teams every year, so cry me a river. The NCAA created this. Worry about that fricking awful Arkansas hiring. If Cignetti got a call to be the fricking Buckeyes coach what you think he does? What should he do? Bet the media doesn’t say a fricking word if that happens. And guess what Ole Miss and Indiana is the same situation, 2 schools that haven’t won shite.

Ole Miss has every right to prevent Lane from finishing the season. As an LSU fan I am glad they helped us get him sooner. In the process they destroyed what little playoff chances they had, but that’s their problem.

They’d confiscate your laptop immediately and have security escort you out of the building before you could cause any more disruption or steal company files.

Some of us work in industries of substance. I dunno what line of work you’re in, but I guess you don’t have to worry about that.

Tulane’s coach also quit his job. He’s still coaching the team

You think Florida is going to take Tulane recruits and portal transfers?

I’ve swapped companies multiple times and have never been fired on the spot

Because it’s a standard practice when going to a competitor. Thanks for playing.

I’m not saying what Ole Miss is doing is wrong. I’m saying they went about it the same way and the school went different routes. It doesn’t make Lane the bad guy and Sumrall the good guy.

LSU fans need to be grateful. Ole Miss made our lives much easier and sabotaged their post season chances in the process. Don’t stop your opponent when they are determined to self destruct.

Sorry man - while not universal, it’s pretty standard.

Right, I just got offered a maintenance role for a chemical plant while I was employed at that location in the same role as a contractor. My boss congratulated me 3 weeks ago, I start next monday and have been working with the contractor the whole time.
