Good on chicken.

If you put in on pork I'll burn you at the stake.

They have been in Nintendo Switch lobbies, and are now going to learn what a CoD lobby is like on Xbox Live.

I ain’t got beef with brisket. Chili w/o beans is the best chili for topping things like a hotdog.

Yell taking on the TU thing is nice. They will hate that and it feels like we made a contribution.

I'd be on board if not for the fact that using UT for TX and UTk for the Vols causes more rival fan consternation that I actually care about.

I'll use UTK and TU just to piss them all off.

It is for smoked poultry only imo. Big Bob Gibson’s white sauce recipe gets all the hits on regional lists for Alabama but there is a definitively Alabama regional “red” sauce though. It is vinegar based w/ a hint of mustard flavor due to dry mustard seed in it.

Some transplant from the Carolinas probably invented that garbage.

Yeah I clarified in an edit. It has a mustard flavor but it isn’t one of those more yellow-red mustard BBQ sauces…they grind up some dry mustard seed into it I believe.

1. You think there’s a decent Waylon Jennings song a self-respecting Texan DOESN’T know? (Oh, wait. We’re talking about the whorns.)

2. I’m open-minded about BBQ. I like brisket best, but almost any iteration has its place.

3. I actually agree with this.

A lot of SEC rivalries are like fights between brothers. You fought with your brother when you were growing up but you did not want anyone else f**king with him.

I have friends and family that are graduates of and fans of other SEC programs. I want Georgia to beat their butts when they play but when they play out of conference I want them to give a good accounting of themselves.

While it sounds horrible, I'd try it.

Where around Huntsville/Madison has the best version of it?

To be quite honest my favorite BBQ sauce in Alabama is the spicy tomato sauce based one at Archibald’s in Northport (Tuscaloosa). My favorite place I’ve been to on the northeast side of Alabama is Cooter Brown’s in Jacksonville and that place is known for their Memphis-style dry-rubbed ribs.

This is absolute blaspheme.

Been there once when taking the long way to see the in laws. It's good.

I like Gibsons in North Alabama. Lawlers is good too. There used to be a place between Huntsville and Guntersville in New Hope or Owens Cross Roads that had the best pulled pork and sauce I've ever had in my life but apparently it burned down about 6 years ago.

Actually, although most of the schools in the Big XII are officially, the University of XXX, the conference agreed to call them XXXU.

For example, the University of Missouri -- MU. The University of Nebraska -- NU. The University of kansas --kU.
