Don't care...still beat you
I'd say:
Michigan
UCLA

Weak. But a lot better than "I dunno" I suppose.

Virginia and Ohio are.
WVU wasn't even listed in the top 25 of any recruiting service for 2015. Also, bordering Ohio isn't a good thing since they are producing less top 300 recruits than ever. WVU is irrelevant in recruiting.

Baylor's on the rise.
Baylor is on the rise??? Reached their ceiling sounds more about right. They couldn't beat MSU,and that's about as good as they are going to do in an era where both Texas and OU are bad.
quote:
Texas will shore up quickly.
Texas may come back quick, that I can give you...but we are talking about today as it stands. And today, Texas sucks and it doesn't look like Texas boosters want to give him time because he is black. If he goes 7-5 this year, people will turn on him in masses. Racist boosters always get what they want at UT. Also Brett ate.

Ditto OU
See Texas (minus racist/black coach of course)

Ok St. fields a good squad every other year.
Every other year. You said it yourself. 'Every other year' does not make a conference good.
quote:
Same can be said of K-State.
K State lost to UCLA. And Bill Snyder may retire soon. Without him, Kansas State is as good as Kansas.
Face it, WVU is irrelevant playing in the middle of the road conference. Only TCU currently matters in the Big12.

kansas: Continue the rivalry, the games would be really entertaining for me given the current state of the programs, unless we pull another Indiana.
Nebraska: Revenge for 30+ years of whippings. The rivalry was just getting competitive when they left for the B1G.
Washington: I like the school, I like Seattle, and I like the football program.
Wisconsin: Love their style of football and Madison would be a great road trip.

Oregon To witness another arse whipping
I would love to see the rematch. Can't beat ND but can beat Oregon.

The two program have gone in opposite direction since 2011.

Not sure I'd agree with this. Ohio is a top state for football recruiting and isn't showing signs of dropping off anytime soon. Eight of the top 100 in the 247 Sports list for 2016 are from Ohio. Only a few other states can match that.
CA - 14
FL - 14
TX - 13
GA - 11
Ohio & LA - 8 each
That's 68 of the top 100 from 6 states. Looks to me like Ohio is just fine. It's the other 44 that are lacking in talent.
Louisiana is impressive with their small population. The other 5 fall in percentages relative to population fairly evenly.

Illinois - old rivalry and recruiting. #1 team we should play every year.
kansas - old rival. Does nothing for the football program though.
Nebraska - Old rival and could help with recruiting since Nebraska is still somewhat of a national program.
Oklahoma St. - have been some good games against them.
TCU/Baylor/Texas Tech - More exposure in Texas for recruiting.

No matter how bad we can possibly be LSU would never struggle with an Oregon team. Yall have speed, but we have equal to better speed with 10x the size. No matter what, couldnt happen.

LSU -- Oh, how the entire fan base would love, love, LOVE to get a shot at USC. Ever since 2003.

Last season's Oregon team would've given your LSU team at least a 2 touchdown arse-whopping. I dunno why you guys are that confident your team. YOU GUYS HAVE NO QB.

LSU whooped Oregon's arse last time they played. Do the coulda shoulda woulda all you want.

Red McCombs is one of their biggest donors and is fairly well known for being "uncomfortable" with people who have better perma-tans than him.
Here was his initial reaction to hiring Strong
quote:
"I think the whole thing is a bit sideways," McCombs said via ESPN.com. "I don't have any doubt that Charlie is a fine coach. I think he would make a great position coach, maybe a coordinator.
"But I don't believe [he belongs at] what should be one of the three most powerful university programs in the world right now at UT-Austin. I don't think it adds up."

McCombs didn't mention race, and was just pissed he scared Saban off.
