Damn really?

Imagine when they get off probation.

They’ll whip a top 2 or 3 program from the past 10 years by 70? 80?

LSU isn't on probation, per FootballScoop.

quote:

The big news out of the NCAA's proverbial courthouse on Thursday was the long-awaited punishment for former LSU basketball coach Will Wade. He of the "strong-arse offer" quote, recorded during the FBI's investigation into college basketball, was hit with a 10-game suspension, a 2-year show-cause, and various recruiting restrictions (Wade is now the head coach at McNeese).

Included within that announcement: three violations against the Tigers' football program. The infractions include one Level I (most serious), one Level II, and one Level III.

The Level I violation dates all the way back to 2012 and stretches well beyond college football. Former Tigers donor John Paul Funes was sentenced back in 2019 to 33 months in federal prison for embezzling money from a hospital that, in part, went to the father of former Tigers offensive lineman Vadal Alexander. James Alexander was paid $180,000 as part of the scheme.

The Level II violation stems from the aftermath of the 2019 national championship game, played in January 2020, when Odell Beckham, Jr., literally handed cash to Tigers players on the floor of the Superdome immediately after the game.

quote:

Finally, the Level III violation stems from Ed Orgeron's impermissible contact with a 2020 recruit in January 2019.

quote:

Since LSU self-imposed penalties related to all three violations (vacating 37 wins in which Alexander played, banning Beckham from its facilities for two years, a 2020 postseason ban, vacating eight scholarships, a $5,000 fine), the NCAA Independent Resolution Panel handed down a 3-year probation for Tiger football.

quote:

The kicker? The probation is back dated and ends Sept. 21, 2023 -- three months from yesterday.

CBS Sports agrees -

quote:

LSU's football program has been charged with three violations stemming from a wide-ranging ruling from the NCAA's Independent Resolution Panel (IRP), handed down Thursday, that also includes the men's basketball program. As part of the ruling, the football program received a Level I violation, a Level II violation and a Level III violation. Not only was LSU hit with a three-year probation sentence, which is set to end on Sept. 21, 2023, but the football team was forced to vacate 37 of its wins from the 2012-15 season due to the Level I violation.

SEC programs on probation.

University of Alabama (baseball): On NCAA probation through January 31, 2027. This stems from a February 2024 negotiated resolution involving former head coach Brad Bohannon’s violations of wagering and ethical conduct rules (providing insider information related to betting). Penalties included three years of probation (starting February 1, 2024), a $5,000 fine, and educational/compliance requirements. There was no postseason ban or scholarship reduction.

• University of Tennessee (football): On NCAA probation through July 13, 2028. This comes from a July 2023 Committee on Infractions decision on Level I violations under former coach Jeremy Pruitt (primarily recruiting and payments to prospects/families during 2018–20). Penalties included five years of probation (starting July 14, 2023), scholarship reductions (28 total during the probation period, with prior self-imposed credits), recruiting restrictions, vacation of certain records, and significant financial penalties (including an enhanced ~$8 million fine in lieu of a postseason ban).

You got tired about being wrong about the players, punishment, and expulsion.

Now you want to be wrong about this.

Are you ok?

This individual is so LSU obsessed, that he created a whole thread about SEC football programs on probation and then failed to mention the only one who's actually on probation, Tennessee, his supposed biggest rival.

But he did list LSU, who isn't.
